A domestic comedy about the McGinis family—husband Aloysius, wife Clarice, daughter Julie, and housemaid Belladonna. The simple story lines often parody society's concern with material goods as an indicator of social standing, but the series was not as narrowly focused as the title implies. The Joneses were the McGinis's neighbors, but were not depicted. They were referred to as objects of envy, with whom the McGinis family was "trying to keep up." In this film, Pa McGinis decides to buy a new hat.

The Mummy and the Humming-Bird recounts the tragedy of a neglected wife who seeks amusement in the company of an unscrupulous Italian novelist whose only object in making love to her is the hope of eventually accomplishing her downfall. The reawakening of the unsuspecting husband, the revenge of which a former victim of the wily schemer wreaks, and the saving of the innocent woman are fraught with thrills and dramatic suspense in abundance. It is the sort of production which can not but impress those who view it. This film is lost.

Oma loves Jack and refuses to marry Hartman. Jack protects her and they eventually get married. Lafe and Hazelet have been good friends for years. Hartman tells Lafe that Hazelet voted dry. Lafe and Hazelet have a fight. Lafe builds a spite fence so Oma and Jack cannot communicate. Lafe dies with delirium tremens. Mrs. Tuthill dies from injuries received from Lafe while he is drunk. Just before Mrs. Hazelet passes away her husband promises her never to vote wet again. Maude Le Fever, the siren, who married Alfred Tuthill, deserts him and runs away with Sam Weber; she later deserts him. Alcohol kills old Dan Weber and leaves Sam a poverty-stricken wretch. Alfred Tuthill is redeemed from rum and builds a picture theater where the old saloon once stood and becomes a respected citizen. Jack is elected Mayor of the city, defeating Hartman by a large majority.

Trapper John Gale lives in the Canadian backwoods with his daughter, Alice. Gale catches Ralph Martin stealing from his traps and a confrontation ensues. During the fight, they recognize each other as former clerks from the East, where Gale had been wrongly accused of murder. Spurned by Alice, Ralph notifies the Mounties of John’s whereabouts even though he is the guilty party.

A romance of the rail, this two-part "thriller" uses wireless telegraphy as the means of averting a disaster to an express train.

The Man, down on his luck, breaks into the home of a wealthy clubman to burglarize the place. The sudden dropping of a book which the man has displaced, arouses the wife who has been sitting up waiting for her husband. Ignorant of the fact that there is a burglar in the house, she telephones her husband at the club and asks him to come home. He refuses to do so until he is ready. When he arrives home, he is intoxicated. Her refusal to kiss him sends him into a drunken rage. He mistreats her. The Man has watched the whole domestic tragedy. He rescues the wife but while she is thanking him, the husband gets the "drop" on him and calls the police. The wife tells him that if the Man is arrested she will say he is her friend. The husband then comes to a realization of what he has done and begs forgiveness.

Pete is a discontented hostler. Hostlers are always discontented but Pete is a little more so. In fact, he is so sick and tired of his job as the mule's chambermaid that he is fast becoming desperate. He gives Maud her morning "Massage" and is interrupted by his "steady," a queen of the avenue, and a movie fan. She "coaches" and "wheedles" him in the naturally gentle, persuasive way of her class, in this wise: "Aw, loosen up. Separate. Give yourself another frisk," etc. As Pete finds himself unable to supply his "best" with the wherewithal to attend a movie, his discouragement becomes despair.

Isabella De Ortega rides over to the mission for her music lesson. While she is there, pirates attack the mission and loot its treasures. The monks hide her in the tower, but she is discovered by the ruffian crew and in grave peril until the Americano, leader of the pirate band, rescues her at his own risk.

Rancher Algy discovers oil on his property and outsmarts a land shark named Todd who tries to buy the land back at a lower price after learning of the discovery. Todd's secretary informs Sally, who warns Algy, but he reveals he already knew about the oil and had planned the whole scenario. This not only wins him the land but also Sally's affections, as Todd loses both.

Within less than five months after the mysterious death of her mother, Adene Maintland wakes in the early morning to learn that her father has also died silently and mysteriously. She suspects her step-father, Wainwright.

In the Latin Quarter is a 1915 silent short film directed by Lionel Belmore and starring Edith Storey and Antonio Moreno. It was produced and distributed by the Vitagraph Company of America.

Slim calls on Sophie, but has no more than gotten comfortably settled when Mustang arrives and is given all the attention. Very shortly Hiram, Sophie's father, comes downstairs and kicks Mustang out. Mustang returns with a note telling Sophie to meet him next day when the stage coach arrives and they will run away.

A word from Temple, and Alice has made up her mind. She leaves for New York. Temple and Jane have been married some time and are living unhappily, apart from the old folks. The former's reputation as a heavy actor is wide, but drink has degraded him. Subsequently, Jane dies, due to Temple's abuse of her.

Luke dreams of the good times that he will have with a young girl with the expense money he his given.

Tom Ingraham, who has been rescued from the clutches of Lina, a siren, meets Ruth. Knowing the marriage would please his wealthy uncle Macy, Tom makes the girl his wife. Ruth soon discovers the marriage to be a loveless one. Tom's hopes of inheriting a fortune are blasted when Macy is ruined.

After getting kicked out of a vaudeville show for misbehaving, they decide to put on a show of their own.

Carlotta Valondi, an Italian opera singer, is the idol of her friends. Angelo, also a singer, asks her to marry him, but she clearly shows that she is bored with him. He rents a house in the country, next to the rectory where the young minister, John Converse, and his old maid sister, Matilda, live. John meets Carlotta and they become friends.

After robbing a bank, a criminal is wrongfully pardoned from prison.

Van Dola is a wealthy, enthusiastic young man who is completely infatuated with the mechanical work of art that is a doll modeled after a real woman named Felicitas.

The Indian's Narrow Escape is a 1915 Western drama

FRAGMENT | Mac Davis runs a small press agency through which he conducts all sorts of shady business. Together with his helpers Clark and Durkins and his girlfriend Ellis he ruthlessly hustles through life. One day, the gang has a fight, and while Clark is thrown out, Durkins and Ellis decide to run away and start a new, righteous life together. Unfortunately, things don't go exactly as planned. Jim Montgomery is wrongfully convicted of murder after being assaulted by burglars who use his tools in a robbery. While imprisoned, he escapes with the help of his cellmate, Bill Hawkins, and later assumes a new identity as a cotton mill superintendent. Ultimately, Bill reveals the true murderer, Gutzler, clearing Jim's name and allowing him to reclaim his life. This silent drama short is presumably lost.

Benton, railroad detective, is assigned to run down the crooks who have been breaking into freight cars near Hobart. Helen, the telegraph operator at Hobart, supplies Benton with his first clue. Later in the day, the two see Rand and his band of river pirates rifling a box car.

Denise lives with her grandparents on a farm and secretly meets Robert. When she tells her grandparents that she wants to marry Robert, they refuse outright, so the two lovers will have no choice but to elope and marry in the nearby town. On the eve of having a child, war breaks out and Robert is mobilized.

Waldo and the baby went on an outing to the beach with the nurse, but it mattered little to Waldo, who consumed much learning from his book, wherever he went or wandered. Nurse went off with the auto driver and left the studious one in charge of the baby. That gave Bob and Tilly a chance to make their innings. Bob was a pirate chief and his crew was Tilly and two black slaves, Rastus and Dave, thrown in. Waldo would not think of playing pirates, but he became part of the game all right. They bound him in their pirate cave and sailed away for the sea with the baby. But the pirate brig was a leaky motor boat that ran away out to sea. Bold pirates became frightened ones when the runaway boat also began to leak, but when the nurse returned and found what her neglect had led to, assistance was soon sent to the pirates.

Thinking he’s performing a good deed stagehand Droppington causes the breakup of the current show when he turns the full strength of the hose on what he supposes to be a fire in the theater. The fact of the matter is magician Mephisto was performing one of his tricks, hence the smoke.

Rival spies on a train cross swords over a woman and an airplane shipment in this Keystone comedy.
