A digital urban tale with the naïve style of paper cut-outs, Lonesome Monsieur Turgeon is an amusing but sympathetic portrait of a man who feels all alone in the world. If only he could connect with the people around him.

There was, perhaps, no more imaginative a tribute to Bach in 2000, the year which marked the 250th anniversary of the composer's death, than The Bach Cantata Pilgrimage undertaken by the Monteverdi Choir and the English Baroque Soloists under their conductor, Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

Natsuki, who works at the town factory, is a lonely 19-year-old who makes tearful efforts such as skipping lunch and taking laxatives, worrying about the thick body shape pointed out by Shige. There is also a secret - Natsuki once killed father and was housed in a rehabilitation facility.

And the plot of this film is not just events that were revealed by the author's memory, but rather impressions of certain events that remained in his imagination. Therefore, the dramatic events were woven as legends of the place, and this is what made the place a unique privacy and the events are closely related to it. It is a social story that talks about the destinies of a group of people that gives a complete and comprehensive picture and a wide panorama of the Syrian countryside at the end of the forties, trying to rely on the popular heritage by weaving relationships between the characters and their way of understanding the events.

WOW Hits 2001 is a compilation album of thirty Contemporary Christian music hits and three bonus tracks that was released on October 24, 2000. This film is Taiwan’s first protest music documentary, examining Jiao Gong Band 交工樂隊. Jiao Gong Band initially received attention from their efforts opposing the Meinong Dam project. After a brief pause in the Dam issue, Jiao Gong began following farm and farming issues, with their musical style quickly gaining increased popularity. This film discusses the uneasy situation faced by Taiwan’s farm youth. The youth that sets out to the city seeking to develop themselves carry feelings of homesickness from leaving their farm and land; on returning to their hometown after the bubble economy, they continue to push the elder generation to leave the village. Aside from this, because of their difficult social status, farm youth can often only search for Southeast Asian “foreign brides” when seeking marriage. Within the film, new residents (新住民) discuss their feelings and mindset in moving to Taiwan and collaborate with Jiao Gong throughout the album’s recording process.
