"Hudson and Halls" was a popular New Zealand cooking show featuring Peter Hudson and David Halls. It ran for around ten years during the 1970s and 80s before being cancelled. Bitter about their treatment, the pair moved to England, where their chatty, somewhat slapstick and definitely campy presentation style won a second show a cult following. While it was general knowledge that Hudson and Halls lived together, were unmarried and certainly seemed uninterested in women, they never officially confirmed the nature of their relationship in the New Zealand media while they were TV stars, though they were out in their private lives. This documentary, which includes interviews with the couple's friends and family, explores the men behind the show and their lifelong romance.

A Monster's Calling is a humorous animated film about the nature of personal anxieties, and body image. An "under-the-bed" monster wanders through a slumbering household, wreaking typical monster havoc. First a little girl, then an older brother, and finally the teenaged big sister. It's surprising, to both the monster and to us, what frightens each of them. A film without words.

Shot on 8MM & 16MM black and white film stock and loosely based on Luke 8:29 in the New Testament, Headcheese is the gritty account of a deranged man’s unholy psyche while on a bizarre pilgrimage to Quick Hill, Texas to rid his soul of feeble-minded parasites. Taking inspiration (as well as the original title) from the seminal 1974 movie Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Headcheese was filmed in and around locations of the famous horror film, featured as dilapidated ruins and vestiges of their former glory. Although not a horror film in the traditional sense, Headcheese follows a tortured killer’s mental unravelings as he comes to grips with his inner demons, resulting in a hallucinatory short film that is as raw as it is bleak. With a pervasively harsh, noise-focused soundtrack to match the intense visual decay, Headcheese is a compelling, albeit experimental visual document of torment.

Sight Unseen remains a veritable how-to when it comes to crafting a proper skate video: from John Cardiel setting the template for all-terrain skating to Tosh Townend’s break-out part, the frenzy of Dustin Dollin to Heath Kirchart’s timeless skating paired with “Nights In White Satin.” Top it all off with Henry Sanchez crawling out from retirement to give his final one-two punch to skateboarding.

Interested in architecture and in contemporaries landscapes, Bertrand Lamarche has designed several projects relatives to the site embracing the J.F.Kennedy viaduct site in Nancy. On this archetypal non-place with its unfinished look and chaotic images that were shot the Terrain Vague project, mounted as a long tracking shot that accompanies the circular sweep of the nocturne landscape by the beam of a lighthouse. The artist created a photographic panorama, referring to primitive cinema, that he used to shoot the movie. The video is in fact a tracking shot along a looped picture, which evokes the movement of an automatic security camera.

Recorded during their sixth visit to Japan in the autumn of 2001, Tokyo Blitz finds Ash on a high.

A condensation of light, sound and time originally projected as a twenty-foot high video onto the ruins of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco, encircled by echoes of historical and contemporaneous human activities associated with its dramatic setting and history. The Shipyard was established in 1869 as the first dry dock on the Pacific Coast where the Navy operated it until 1976. It was closed in 1991 and was the site of major toxic cleanup efforts.

Through subtle manipulations, Weiner engages in linguistic tricks and metamorphoses that visually manifest his conceptual inquiries.

The illusion of an hypnosis emerges from the serenity of a geometrical succession of forms. In this geometrical 'mini-drama' the pathos is created by colors in movement and the languorous and repetitive beat of a piano.

A cascade of challenging circumstances and an encounter with God jolted Steve to free himself once and for all from his obsession with pornography.

Elegy is a film about and in memory of a cat. It depicts her nocturnal space as imagined by us. It occurs partly in our ‘garden’, a dank and decaying back yard full of weeds and wildlife, a place that belonged more to her than to us. Various creatures join in the process of mourning, on and off screen.

In Frances Stark's Cat Videos 1999 - 2002, the artist's cats are featured playing and lounging in her apartment. The videos are a result of Stark being inspired by the visual pleasure of watching her cats and the way their movement changed her perception of her domestic surroundings. By utilizing the soundtrack of one diegetic song per video, the life of the domestic cat - which usually involves no plans or action - is framed, and then elevated as a work of art. The videos, produced pre-Youtube in 1999-2002, predict our current extensive consumption and emotional responses to online cat videos, and unintentionally explore the rise of rapid attention span as a response to current technologies.

In this dynamic concert video, electric bass virtuoso Victor Wooten mesmerizes the audience with a set that ranges from the funky "U Ain't Got No Groove" to the Beatles classic "Norwegian Wood" to the spiritual "Amazing Grace."
