Ayo Vindico is known in the capital Stockholm as the Bird of paradise.

The synopsis of the film is unknown, as it was never published in any newspaper at the time, but it can be assumed, from the title, that it told about some mischief done by Chiquinho and his friend Jagunço from the magazine, O, Tico-Tico. This film is considered lost.

Bert Morgan and "Squint" Booth are freight agents for rival railroads concerned in getting the contract for hauling the gold ore produced by the Mogul Mountain mine. The contract finally falls to the road employing Morgan upon his promise to have cars in operation over an abandoned spur track within three weeks' time.

J. W. White's store is poorly-run and losing money. Things improve after he modernizes the store.

Luke, running a chili parlor, inherits a million dollars and joins high society.

We start off seeing Mix giving his sweetheart (Victoria Ford) a gift and having the other cowboys laugh at him. Another man then tries going after the girl and soon he and Mix are trying to prove which one deserves her. Only 8 minutes are known to exist.

Father objects to Jack, Mary's new husband, believing him to be merely a flirtatious lifeguard. Mary's brother is in town and Jack believes her brother is something more-- that she may be 'false'. Jack disguises himself as the family's new butler to investigate.

In this tale of the South in the mid-1800s, Annabel Lee and Warner Richmond get married, but they keep the wedding a secret so that Warner can inherit the fortune of his misogynist grandfather. But after the grandfather's death, Warner dumps Annabel for an opera singer. Warner destroys the evidence of his first marriage so he can wed the singer, who then takes his money and leaves him.

A street singer manages to work his way up to the position of an opera artist, only to be struck by fate, and return to his life on the street.

Short comedy

Ethel Warren has many suitors for her hand. She cannot decide between two of them, Anson Pryce, a lawyer, and John King, a journalist. John has had an accident and lost the use of an arm. War is declared and both men hasten to volunteer. Anson is accepted at once, but John is rejected on account of his arm.

Pokes is a sport when his wife is not around - when she is, he is meekness itself. A game is going on at the club and Pokes is phoned for, but his wife gets the message and Pokes is sent to bed. Jabs, the policeman, is a sweetheart of Jennie, the maid, and calls for his daily refreshments. Meanwhile Mrs. Pokes has gone out and Pokes wanders into the kitchen. He sees Jabs' coat and hat and hastily donning them escapes to the club. Getting back is more difficult, however, but after exciting experiences with several cops and a burglar, Pokes manages to get home, only to be confronted by Mrs. Pokes. The bold story he tells fails to convince his irate wife, who proceeds to massage him with a wooden lower extremity. Pokes is now studying the game of "Old Maid" and trying to learn to tell the truth and once more make friends with his wife.

Jane and Katharine are the sweetest youngsters in the world, in their mother's eyes. The family is summering at a seaside resort when mama is called to town for a week. Not wishing to interrupt her darling's good time, she has her young bachelor brother come to the hotel to take care of the children until she returns. "Billy" Parke undertakes the job.

Musty applies for a job as office boy, but is turned down because he is too old. He visits a doctor to get some elixir of youth, but drinks too much and is reduced to a sprightly two-year-old.

A good husband returns home to find a man he had generously hosted, who is about to rape his wife. He lunges at him, but his wife stops him, offering him the child. The man then contents himself with chasing away the scoundrel, who - in response - shoots him with a pistol. A new fight between the two, the husband tries to disarm him, but, by turning his armed hand around, causes the other to shoot himself and kill himself. Tried and sentenced to life, the man, who is nicknamed Wolf from the famous painting of the dying wolf, will manage to escape and his revenge will be inexorable...

Musician Gaston Brenner gets accepted to study under piano virtuoso Jean Krause. Through this he becomes acquainted with the painter and professor Mac Steep who is working on a painting of Christ at the last supper. He thinks Gaston's face would be perfect as a model for Christ's.

Baker John Doe develops a hole-less doughnut, but rival Henry Mudguard fears the success of his invention and desperately attempts to steal the secret.

At a restaurant, the coats of flea expert Professor Loris and Lieutenant Juncker are mixee up. Thus Juncker finds the professor's notes for the next day, and makes a bet with his cronies that he should be able to carry out the professor's daily program without being exposed.

Grace Penrose (Fenwick) is established as a "vampire"—a femme fatale type character of the era—due to heredity. Seeking a change from city life, she retires to a mountain lodge. She encounters married man John Winthrop and becomes obsessed with stealing him from his wife, Beth. The husband leaves his wife for Grace. The wife, however, seeks help from the local female mayor, whose own son was previously victimized by Grace. The townspeople, led by the mayor, take action against Grace. The film concludes with the villagers taking Grace to be tarred and feathered while the husband begs for, and is granted, forgiveness.

Truly Rural is a silent 1917 comedy short.

Fashion salesman Amadeus flirts with the secretary when his wife Emma pays him an unexpected visit. She asks for a new coat. He gives her a checkered raincoat from his storage. At home she meets her friend Gritti, who is excited by the new garment. Emma lends it to her for a rendezvous with her fiancé. On his way home Amadeus spots Gritti leaving the house. Due to the coat he mistakes her for his wife and follows close behind. At the same time he is observed by Emma who begins her own pursuit. When Grittti enters a streetcar with her fiancé, Amadeus assumes deceit. He loses track of the couple and starts to make eyes at a young pedestrian. Emma is outraged and decides to move in with her mother, who suggests a divorce lawyer. Amadeus finds his home empty and calls the same lawyer. A meeting with the married couple is arranged for the next morning.

A wealthy financier is tricked by a pair of spies into giving millions to foreign powers. His daughter is suspicious and hires a Detective, who is able to foil the foreign agent's plans. Meanwhile, the daughter has fallen in love with a fellow from the enemy camp, but all ends well as his true identity is revealed as a member of the U.S. secret service.

Returning to the village of Bayport after twenty-two years, retired sea captain Cyrus Whittaker finds the community under the power of political boss Herman Atkins. Cy opposes Atkin's choice for the position of teacher and helps to elect Miss Daws instead, thus earning the enmity of the politician. One day, a young girl named Emily Thomas arrives with a note from Sarah Oliver, a relative of Cy, explaining that the girl is the daughter of his old sweetheart and that her father is in jail and her mother dead.

His first official act is to pass a pay rise for himself. In the meantime his highness / the secretary is flirting with the maid.

Roscoe flirts with a girl in the park. Later he takes his wife and mother-in-law to the movies only to see his flirtation showing on the screen.

Maria, a destitute madwoman dies in a fire at the insane asylum. The unwanted corpse of her is donated to the academy for an anatomy lesson. The film ends in the anatomy dissection theatre, where the female body lies on the table surrounded by male doctors and students.

Il Fiacre n. 13, from the novel of the same title by Xavier Henri Aymon Perrin, Count of Montépin, a highly prolific and much-loved author whose books were vehicles for the depiction of social inequality, narrating stories of love, death, betrayal, blackmail, and redemption. The sweeping narrative of Il Fiacre n. 13 was mutilated by the Italian censor’s suppression of its first part, the most cynical episode, which sets the scene for a scheme discernable in the other three episodes, as the story develops from a sordid murder through plotting and deceit to finally reach a happy ending.

Eddie Barry wants to keep wife Betty Compson happy, and she wants him to be a race car driver, so he hires a driver to impersonate himself on the track; but there is an accident and he has to go to the hospital and convince the doctor to have him bandaged.
