A good husband returns home to find a man he had generously hosted, who is about to rape his wife. He lunges at him, but his wife stops him, offering him the child. The man then contents himself with chasing away the scoundrel, who - in response - shoots him with a pistol. A new fight between the two, the husband tries to disarm him, but, by turning his armed hand around, causes the other to shoot himself and kill himself. Tried and sentenced to life, the man, who is nicknamed Wolf from the famous painting of the dying wolf, will manage to escape and his revenge will be inexorable...

Overview
