Zoé is a clumsy maid who cannot succeed at anything. Unaware there’s a hole in her shopping basket, she deposits a dozen eggs and fresh produce inside. She leaves a stack of fragile dishes on a parked carriage, which then shatters when it drives away. At home, she breaks a mirror and crashes a chandelier through the floorboard.

Documentary film about a peasant wedding held on the streets of Arad followed by a theater show in which the bride and groom participate. The film was made on December 14, 1913 in Avram Iancu Square in Arad, as well as at the City Hall and the City Theater.

Charles Servaes playing Polycarpe is cooking some eggs in his residential hotel. What do you need when you want to cook eggs?A clean chimney that won't kill you. So he takes a chimney brish up to the roof and gets to work. This does not please the other residents, when he pushes soot down their chimney into their rooms!

Gavroche tries to become an umbrella salesman. He follows a man to his house in attempt to sell his first umbrella. However, the umbrella is too wide to fit through the doorway. Instead, he devises a plan to reach the man's balcony above. Setting some rags on fire, he uses the hot air produced to make his umbrella fly. Gavroche crashes through a window, and into the room where the man and his wife are talking, Finally, he make his last attempt at selling the umbrella.

Since the days of earliest mythology the spider and his web have been a favorite figure of speech. Here we see interesting specimens of these spiders, which inhabit all quarters of the world and grow to their largest size in the tropics. The arachnidium, wherewith they spin the barely visible silky threads which are used for their webs, have been closely studied by inventors and utilized in their models for reproducing this function mechanically. The delicate webs which these gossamer threads form are at once the spider's home and his means of catching his prey. Commercially, they have been used as cross-lines in telescopes, and even utilized for textile fabrics; but in the latter instance, only as curious. The male spider is larger than the female, whose eggs are numerous and usually enveloped in a cocoon. Although the spider's bite is fatal to other insects, it does not affect mankind.

IV Cavalry Regiment of “the Great Prince Konstantin Konstantinovic“ returned from the Balkan Wars to Belgrade railway station at four o`clock in the afternoon on the 3rd August 1913, where it was welcomed and greeted by a great number of Belgrade citizens. The regiment then went to the camp in Banjica to join the troops which paraded through the capital city, particularly ready for the official reception of the Serbian victors on the 11th August 1913.

Wishing to record the heroism of the Third Army under the command of General Boza Jankovic and its Morava Division II Line led by Milovan Nedic, the producer Djoka Bogdanovic shot twelve "cinematographic images" with his two cameramen on the teritorry where these armies fought during the 16th July 1913.

The fugitive being caught, they exchange clothes, and John gives himself up. The real murderer is, however, caught, and Jim returns to his wife, while John returns to his police duty."

The heroine loves her father's young steward. The appearance of her father, attempting to match her with a rich old man, makes her hide her lover under the featherbed, where he suffocates; An unwitting, almost anecdotal murder-- understandable familial insubordination turned deadly. Having found the corpse, mother and daughter in fear call the janitor, who hides the body in a barrel and throws it into the Volga river. The 'kindly' janitor, however, begins to blackmail the troubled women.

Onésime came down and threw himself on stage, starting into the great aria at which he excelled. We must say, in respect for the truth, that he earned what critics calls "the estimated success": Onésime, who has the voice of a barrel salesman, sings like the pulley in a well.

The writer Edmundo Alamares falls in love with a cousin, who is also his father's student. Alamares gives her an engagement ring, but his cousin finds out about his intentions and a fight breaks out. Alamares loses his mind and is committed to a mental asylum, where a doctor neglects him despite charging him for treatment. Finally, with his cousin's help, Edmundo manages to escape, unmask the imposters, reconcile with his cousin, and marry his beloved.
