A documentary about the most famous Polish rock festival of the communist era – the Jarocin Festival. With the help of musicians who owe their artistic existence to this festival and its organizers, the filmmakers paint a picture of a legendary, almost mythical event. The very fact that a punk rock and hippie festival existed in a country behind the Iron Curtain was a phenomenon in itself. And when we realize the cultural significance of Jarocin, we understand that this festival was unique and irreplaceable. The film's director presents a wide range of people who appeared at the event over the course of its several years of existence, as well as artists who took their first steps on stage in the 1980s and are now "megastars" and pillars of Polish rock culture.

As recounted by the camera, lighting, and sound engineer, Nathan Frank: "After experiencing a particularly painful alternative theater performance earlier in the day, Trevor was inspired to exorcise his own suffering. The performance, removed from the context of the theater, transported to a gloomy basement, and combined with a fair amount of cheap vodka, removes the pretense of experimental theater and replaces it with an undeniably palpable feeling of sad, dirty, desperation."

Combining artfully designed sets and digital processing, Santos recreates the historic Apollo lunar landing for this essayistic video, which uses simulation to interrogate representation. Relating a long-circulated rumor that the landing was actually faked in a NASA film studio — an opinion reputedly held by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, among others — Santos delicately negotiates the increasingly blurry line between fact and fiction. As he notes in his on-screen text, the coming of the Internet makes any purported fact "easy to say, hard to prove."

A reflection on the deep and the creatures that attempt to fathom its resources (such as baked salmon and rubbery crocodile meat). A visual journey into the far reaches of waterlogged consciousness, where the yearnings of the tummy meet the revulsion of the cranium—a cranium mostly made up of water in the first place, like a head of cabbage. Besides, the video is more of a head-trip to the nether reaches of Neptune's haunts where tourists glide through guts of glass to ooh and aah at the mysteries of the deep-end. Taped in Frisco, Baltimore, and Pacifica, let the salt air of this far-flung journey corrode the land-lubber blubber that beaches you upon the sands of sanity and render your sails impotent to the blows of the tradewind. Cast ahoy that anchor of dead meat between your thighs and let it plunge into the deep wetness from which we all ascended.

Combining elements of multimedia, dance and fragmented narrative, memorandum explores the hazy dimensions of recall that ground and disquietly erode our experience minute-by-minute. The set is simple - almost an abstraction. A bare stage is bisected by an impenetrable but translucent wall, a screen onto which will be projected a barrage of images. Amidst a cascade of white noise and REM-speed visual flashes, the performers break down the motions into displaced gestures in silhouette. Penetrating deeper beneath the surface of moment, dancers drift in a slow sensual subconscious slidestep through the "forest of memory" haunted by voices and desires.

The story is set in a small village in South-Eastern China, during the Cultural Revolution. A teenager is bored and spends most of his time hanging around in the street. An old man, a widower, earns his money making artistic paper shapes of people, animals, vehicles, and other things. It is an old custom to burn these pieces of paper as a sacrifice to the dead — but in the years of the Cultural Revolution, this was regarded as superstition, and banned. The old man uses dazibao, propaganda posters, and secretly makes them into figures that should be burnt on his death. One day, the teenager accompanies the old man to his house and finds out the old man's secret. A bond ensues between the two. The boy finds out that the man once had a daughter, Qingqing, who was hit in the forties by a stray bullet. Since then, he has always dreamt about the beauty of Qingqing.

On March 3, 1986, seven young men are killed in an ambush by police in the suburb of Guguletu, Cape Town. Police pleaded that they were ‘terrorists’ and were so heavily-armed that arrest was impossible, They say that they had no option but to kill them all. A witness, however, sees a man shot with his hands up in the act of surrendering. This fact led to the extraordinary unravelling of the real truth ten years later by investigators of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission. The journey of this film is as gripping and shocking as any detective story – and unfolds in that genre. The event distils a period when South Africa was chillingly close to a major civil war. Its universal message reveals with shocking reality what happens when power corrupts political systems and assassinates its opponents.
