Lunch is revered by his peers, beloved by his community, and a prominent subject of interest for local ace reporter Mary Lowdown of the Daily Tattletale. That is until Lunch’s vengeful and envious twin brother Feast constructs the ultimate killing machine: a super human, Terminator-esque cyborg known as The Annihilator who marauds through the city maiming and mutilating innocent citizens. To make matters worse, Feast has disguised himself as his do-gooding twin and committed acts of robbery and murder in order to sully Lunch’s good name. With his reputation tarnished and his job on the line, Lunch must do battle with The Annihilator and put an end to Feast’s reign of terror once and for all.

When some old film cement is used to save a few dollars and fails - you get a dirty print because you have to use tape splices which obviates the point of A/B rolling. A provincial town. The criminal boss is concerned about a series of minor terrorist attacks that have recently begun to accompany him. Suspecting that someone from his former entourage is behind this, the boss gives the command to attract a cleaner. This cleaner turns out to be a nice woman Vera, who enthusiastically takes up the search for a terrorist. Together with their friend — a cheerful dolt Dima — they will go through fire and water, and come out to Serge, the former partner of the boss, who has good reasons for revenge. Vera will understand and appreciate Serge, and there will be a situation uncontrolled by the boss, for the resolution of which he will be forced to equip a whole squad…
A video filmed "live" by STAN DOUGLAS and one other camera man, records the performance of four American musicians playing a Free Jazz composition. In the gallery installation two projections are simultaneously presented on the front and back of a large scale suspended screen. While one side shows the edited version of this two-camera production, the other side presents a simultaneous counter-narrative of all that has been edited out.

The film is an elegy on the Assyrian homeland, shaped by repeated genocide, intergenerational trauma and displacement. It captures the beauty of tradition and ritual, without shying from a critique of the patriarchal values embedded in the culture. Our Locked Door also highlights the tenacity of the Assyrian diaspora, being made on a small budget and relying on the goodwill of the communities in Australia and Armenia where it was filmed.
Ms. Taki Kudo says she has been able to connect with deities since she was six or seven years old. Even in modern Japan, mediums like Ms. Kudo are in demand, providing such traditional services as expelling a curse and invoking spirits for health and long life. At twice-annual rituals at Mt. Osore-Zan, she and other female spirit mediums allow the dead to speak through them, relaying insight, comfort and warnings from the deceased to their loved ones. Another important duty is caring for the mulberry-wood Oshirasama puppets representing individual souls. Ms. Kudo dresses and stores the puppets and performs the lively rites in which spirits come down from the mountain in order to protect and purify the people of her village - the deities are cajoled by offerings of food, lights, money and candy.

The story surrounds a young boy called Obaid. He is confronted with a choice to live an easy life in this world or to struggle for reward in the hereafter. The story takes place during the tyrannical rule of King Narsis, who controls his people by encouraging them to worship idols and frightening them with the magic of Cinatas, his evil sorcerer. Cinatas chooses Obaid to be his student, someone who will assist him in his magic. At first, the boy is tempted by dreams of the power and the influence he will wield as the king's next sorcerer. But, soon after he starts to question his priorities. He begins talking to a righteous and a very holy man, who opens his mind to the true meaning of life.
Maeng-Ku, a naughty boy of Man Se middle school, gives up going to school and departs somewhere. When he tries to save a little boy who jumps into driveway to pick up his ball, Maeng-Ku loses his life. As he realizes he is dead later, Maeng-Ku reminds what he has done so far.

Erwin Leiser interviews art historians, dealers and contemporary witnesses such as Willy Brandt, tracks down lost paintings and shows the "Degenerate Art" exhibition reconstructed in Los Angeles - without propagandistic slogans.

The work was revolutionary; it broke with the traditions of the previous generations of video artists. Thaterʼs subject matter was simple and the use of structural methods helped to articulate the medium of video projection. Thater created a jewel box with footage of Monetʼs garden broken into the primary video colors. The image was not broken apart in post-production but inside the Barco projector. Also critical to the work was Thater addressing the existing architecture of the gallery. She allowed the outside to be present and turned the window into a front and rear screen. The viewer was present, often being projected upon.

His fifteenyear old son, who had been helping him with the farm work, flunks out of school and moves to Ouagadaougou, where he finds a job guarding people's bicycles. Nikiema tries to commit suicide because he cannot fulfill his promises to his creditors any more. He is saved at the last moment by the arrival of one of his many sons living in the Ivory Coast.

They eat together, know each other's tastes, and talk a little while watching TV. The film is a quiet account of their unhurried life together. The camera's gaze is quiet but gentle as it carefully follows the old couple, interspersed with summer scenes from the countryside, like a documentary. The camera's gaze is quiet but gentle, and the occasional embarrassing gestures and expressions on the couple's faces give the viewer a sense of closeness to the camera (and to the people holding it). The old man is a very picturesque subject even when he is just standing there, but this film has a peculiar rhythm to it, which may be staged or naturalistic.

The filming in the vast landscape brings the characters into sharp focus. The journey of these outlaws, who can only live halfway, is shown in a dashing, unconventional and freestyle.
