What is the significance when contemporary Asian gay men dress up in costumes that seem more out of Hollywood than Beijing? How do you say An Ling, Mizi Hia or Sodeoka? Is this deconstruction, appropriation, or just over-kill?

When a woman decides to end years of abuse by calling the police for help, an even worse nightmare will begin.

Written and shot in 1991 as an M.F.A. Thesis Film, is a reincarnation of a spoof that Matt Stevens wrote, directed, and shot on Super 8 mm in high school.

Originally working with super 8 animation pieces, Noshioka switches on to video-making from 1991. From time control with frame shooting to gaze fix with live action filming, her technology and texture change greatly. This first work in video indeed straightforwardly defines the relationship between "living space" and "physicality". Through repetition of thundering and quietude, the power of Nishioka's pure solitude and intense observation turn and reshape the warmhearted town of Osaka into something hard and inorganic. The adherence to a suddenly rising unrealistic and gigantic vapor pillar, the ever-turning ventilation fan and the ever-watching eye – All of these are ways to love Osaka permissible only to this filmmaker.

Sent by His Majesty the Sultan to secure a village that was in turmoil due to the evil swordsmen, the Eagle Swordsman deliberately caused chaos so as not to be suspected by the cruel Daing Swordsman. The swordsman Daing often steals the property of the villagers and also kidnaps a virgin as his prisoner and causes chaos to the people in the village. Deliberately making a deal with him, Pendekar Helang took Sundang Panca Sakti which was said to be able to kill the evil swordsman from Penghulu Malim's storage to be given to Swordsman Daing as a trick to kill him. There was a fight between those who were the key to peace in the village.

Should all his efforts have been for nothing? In the mean time he meets a young woman, L., and temporarily forgets his aim to fly.

Jan Jedlička has been recording the Maremma landscape for three decades with various artistic means. He has systematically studied the topography of the region from the highest points, the large, simple shapes of hills and plains, the canal systems, the clean lines of the coastline. He observes the migratory fires set by local peasants to burn their fields and grass. The elemental structure of the landscape, the colours and reflection of the water surface emerge in the ever-changing light during the day and the seasons. The sequences and arrangements of the film develop a multi-layered dialogue between the landscape and the abandoned house. In the interior spaces of the house, in the play of light and shadow, from unexpected angles, from spots on the wall or patterns on the tiles, Jedlička reveals motifs that resonate with the physiognomy of the landscape.

The third part of a trilogy of Silesian westerns by Jozef Klyk - an amateur, a great film lover who has been making amateur productions since 1967, the most famous of which are westerns. In them, Klyk combines western mythology with Silesian mythology. The film covers the period 1886-1939.

Naked begins with his departure and ends with his arrival at the close of the day. Following him on his journey is a mythical window cleaner, whose flying gantry takes us through the city to a tower block where he spies on a woman preparing for her guest and observes her neurotic next-door neighbours. Naked, which refers to the women’s vulnerability as well as their state of undress, uses model, drawn and photo animation within three dimensional sets.
