A 1976 Serbo-Croatian language drama film directed by Dejan Karaklajić, starring Boro Stjepanović, Slobodan Đurić and Zorica Mirković.

Rocky comprises a single monitor video and fourteen related drawings. The video begins with a man, McCarthy himself, waiting before the camera with his back turned and then turning to face it. Wearing shorts and boxing gloves, he begins to address the viewer in muttered sounds which mimic the manner in which actor Sylvester Stallone speaks as the character Rocky in the eponymous 1976 film. He begins occasionally to hit himself on the head, as though to clear his thoughts and to demonstrate his virility, but gradually the number and violence of the blows increases. It appears as though the Rocky character is having an imaginary fight with another person, but as the film develops it turns into a masochistic fight with himself.

This film presents a compelling visual and aural analysis of Shilluk kingship in 1975, and provides a very useful complement to Evans-Pritchard’s 1948 text, The Divine Kingship of the Shilluk. Although the Reth (king) has been reduced to the status of second-class magistrate in dispute settlement by the Sundanese government, he is still the focus of political and national identity for a Shilluk people composed of competing territorial groupings. At the death of the Reth, his spirit passes into the Nile.

Mischievous boys, who consider themselves brave horsemen, teach the puppy Julbars to scare everyone. Once, to scare a neighbor girl, they painted the puppy as a tiger, and he caught a cold. Instead of helping their Julbars, the boys decided to take revenge on the girl for her kindness, and she cured the sick puppy. And she had one more friend. He who is kinder is braver, because he is kind!

Between June 26 and 29, 1976, the sixth edition of the Festival of the Juvenile Proletariat took place at Parco Lambro in Milan, an event conceived by the countercultural magazine Re Nudo. The organizers invited Alberto Grifi to film those days filled with meetings, debates, and concerts, but not everything went as planned.
