This film bears witness to both the Soviet production system and censorship. The view of life on a collective farm depicted here seemed too bleak for the officials involved, and the film was not screened for two decades. Viva and Taylor Mead are a married couple renting an extra beach-house to a group of surfers sent to them by a Mr. Morrissey of La Jolla Realty. Their daughter, Ingrid Superstar, is pregnant and on the hunt for a husband. Mr. Mead, who is gay, tries to pawn her off to one of the surfers. Meanwhile, Viva wants a divorce from her boy-crazy hubby, who wants a surfer of his own. Tom, a surfer, is inveigled by Mr. Mead to urinate on him. In a close-up, Mr. Mead receives Tom's offering ecstatically, after which he comments, "I'm a real surfer now."

Yusuf is mixed up with the schemes and plans to murder the khalif Abdül Velid by his wife , he tries his best to save his khalif and the woman he loves.

Using his bag-full of inflatable items, including muscles, weights, a swimming pool, waterskis, and balloon animals, the Pink Panther diverts the beauties' attention away from the muscleman, who angrily tries to regain his dominant-guy-on-the-beach status.

Based on a perennially popular Bengali folk tale, Sat Bhai Chompa has had many cinematic outings in both India and Bangladesh. This, the 1968 version directed by Dilip Shom, is one of the most delightful. A king has three wives. The two elder wives connive to throw the pregnant third wife out of the palace. The third wife gives birth to eight children - seven sons and a daughter. The enraged elder wives, with the help of a sorcerer, turn the seven sons into flowers. It is now up to the daughter to turn her brothers back into humans and regain their rightful place in the palace.

Rainer von Hessen and Niki de Saint Phalle met after he saw a photo of HON, the 1966 installation for Moderna Museet Stockholm, in a German magazine. Their collaboration began when Saint Phalle first designed the costumes and sets to Aristhophanes’s LYSISTRATA, directed by Hessen (then known under the stage name Diez). Thereafter, Hessen co-authored and directed her play ICH, which was performed at the Staatstheater Kassel in 1968.
