The Hedenhös family settles in Sweden, lives in caves, founds Stockholm, and travels to Egypt. The Hedenhös family discovers America, visits Native Americans, flies through the air in the world's first atomic-powered aircraft, and returns to Sweden again.

The girl opens the door for him. He invites the good old caretaker to his room to show him the toys. Wanting to beautify her birthday, the caretaker tries to cheer up the little one. With the help of her toys she enters the world of fairy tales. The dolls come to life and the girl happily participates in their game. Time passes, it is already late at night and the girl falls asleep. The caretaker leaves quietly, leaving her in the interior of her room full of toys.

The Sequel to 1961's Die Mauer, Walter Ulbricht's Stacheldraht (Barbed Wire) traces the continuing expansion of the exclusion zone in East Berlin until 1961. Original footage documents the consequences of division: dilapidated buildings, border zones patrolled with guard dogs, walled-up cemetery gates, tear-gas clashes between East and West German police and refugee memorials on the West side and interviews with fugitives.

This short drama is a portrait of Nova Scotian journalist and politician Joseph Howe (1804-1873) and his battle for freedom of press. When, in 1835, Howe was accused of seditious libel, no lawyer dared defend him. Choosing to defend himself, he addressed the jury for over 6 hours, urging jurors to leave an unshackled press as a legacy to their children. Though the judge instructed the jury to find Howe guilty, jurors took only 10 minutes to acquit him - a landmark event in the evolution of press freedom in Canada.

It received awards at the San Francisco and Oberhausen festivals. and was included on the list of the “world’s 100 best short films” by the film critics at the 1995 Clermont-Ferrand film festival.. All three of the film’s authors together with their peers became the creators of the legendary Riga School of Poetic Documentary.

But the organ builder Franz is in a dispute with his twin brother Joseph and has no time to fix the disused organ.

Ina is clueless and she even borrows money and jewelry from her friends to support Hari’s ailing business. Being a police target, Hari feels threatened and flees. Ina realizes she has been manipulated and is thrown to jail because she cannot pay up her debts. In jail, she bumps into Hari. The police are using Hari to expose the crime of his fellow gang members. He is collaborating to minimize his punishment and to free his wife from any charges.

Miskei, the popular and dynamic president of a co-op falls in love with Mari, the attractive wife of the elderly Pató. The deeply feeling woman is fed up with the service beside the haughty land holder, she is longing for tenderness and a child. The passion of Miskei is growing when he sees how crudely, humiliating Pató treats her. During a powerful summer shower, when chance brings them together in an abandoned press house, he storms on Mari confessing love. The woman refuses him bitterly. Miskei calms down and he keeps on expressing his love and high esteem with the woman by steadfast and tiny compliments. Early one morning Mari leaves her husband and sets off to the city to learn and to begin a new life.
