It's springtime and Cupid is bringing romance into the lives of every woodland creature... except for Fatso the bear who "ain't got no romance in his soul." Cupid sets out to remedy this and shows Fatso a female bear, then injects him with about 50 love arrows. Fatso, now smitten, is determined to win her affection but his clumsiness threatens the relationship of the two, despite Cupid's advice. He dumps a trash can on her head, shoves a bouquet of flowers in her face, knocks her in the mud, dumps a beehive on her head, and knocks her into a cave. Finally, he succeeds in winning her with "the caveman routine" only to discover she has a family of kids he must now look after. Furious, he vengefully chases Cupid into the distance.

This documentary shows the birth of a 10,000-ton ship called "Phenian" (the deadweight tonnage of this cargo ship is 10,000 tons). The film is devoid of commentary, which emphasizes the importance of the forms and the almost mystical nature of the "birth" of the ship.

On May 22, 1960, an earthquake with an intensity of 9.6 on the Richter Scale was recorded in the city of Valdivia, considered to date the largest and most violent earthquake ever recorded in the world. The cataclysm devastated the entire Chilean territory between Talca and Chiloé, which corresponds to more than 400,000 km. It resulted in the deaths of around three thousand people, while two million were left homeless. The film documents the efforts of a hundred workers in the face of the threat of the overflowing of Lake Riñihue.

Anandan and Venkatachalam are friends. Venkatachalam's daughter Sarala, following an accident, loses her ability to walk. The rest of the film revolves around what happens to the many problems of the characters.

Martha is touched by his indifferent words. In the afternoon, encouraged by her colleague, she decides to buy the shoes. She is unlucky, however, as they have already been sold in the meantime. In the evening, Marta dresses for the theatre without any mood. In her wardrobe she discovers a box containing Indian slippers. Her face brightens with a smile and she goes to sew a button to Karl's white shirt without speaking. Suddenly the couple are close again.

Tackling a problem common to other Nordic countries as well, director Bjoern Breigutu has focused on the life of sailors, among others, and how alcohol is used or abused in that sector of the population. This was the Norwegian entry at the 1961 Berlin Film Festival.
