The village of Pubnico, located at the southwestern most tip of Nova Scotia, is the oldest Acadian settlement. Almost all of the village's inhabitants are descended from a few families who settled on the peninsula more than three hundred years ago. For two and a half centuries, the village of Pubnico lived in complete isolation. Today, its people have only one occupation: fishing.

Shots of city and country life come together to form an impressionistic whole. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2012.

Two kinds of starfish, the brittle and the feather. The brittle star moves its arms alone, without the aid of suckers. Underneath is a single opening. Stalks move food close to the mouth and move waste away. We see vents, used in reproduction and breathing. We watch the hatched young expelled into the water. The camera shows us brittle stars' intricate patters. We observe feather stars in clusters, like ferns. One turns over slowly; arms have branches with stalks for breathing and gathering microscopic food. Reproductive organs are inside branches. We see eggs develop at 1,400 nature's speed. Larvae emerge, 0.1 mm long. They grow. A feather star takes a walk.

The Lima Country Club was the setting for this interesting fashion show in support of "Christmas for Peruvian Children 1956," which focused on the history of Peruvian fashion. Personalities such as Dolores "Lolita" Sabogal Morzán (Miss Peru - Universe 1956), Juanita Pásara de Revoredo (co-founder of La Casa de la Tradición), Gladys Zender Urbina (Miss Peru & Miss Universe 1957), and Silvia Kessel del Río participated.
