A clockmaker goes into the woods in search of a cuckoo and finds Woodpecker. Figuring a coo-coo could double as a cuckoo, the clockmaker sets out to capture Woody, take him home and put him to work on the clock. Woody figures otherwise, and introduces the clockmaker to an angry bear. Chaos follows.

Jamilah, a singer of a traveling troupe is a strong-minded woman who has no desire for marriage. Umar, a poverty-stricken man, trespasses her room one night with the intention to steal. Unable to escape in time when Jamilah and her colleague Ismail return home, Umar pretends to be Jamilah’s estranged husband, much to her bewilderment. Umar confesses his dire circumstances to Jamilah, and she takes pity on him. A romantic friendship develops between the titular penchuri (thief) and the film’s heroine.

Mexican feature film

Good Deed Daly joins his fellow scouts camping near a buffalo-protective reservation. When a villain tries to get away with several of the dwindling herd, Daly comes to the rescue and, with the aid of the other scouts, soon has the villain in hand.

A pampered cat, the pet of a Park Avenue penthouse resident, is fed up with his life of ease with the best of food and tender loving care, and yearns to be free to roam Central Park and, perhaps, snare a pigeon or two for his food needs. He manages to escape and stalks triplet pigeons, and soon learns that the penthouse is better than the outhouse.

Art, the artist, receives a circular announcing a prize for the best painting of a desert flower. Woody Woodpecker also reads it and decides to enter the competition. He and Art wage a battle all over the desert regarding who is to paint the only desert flower in the area. Woody wins the battle and the contest, and is awarded a painting of a bag of gold.

Cusco film school.

In the mid-1950s, Oslo imported 27,000 tons of coal annually, which was converted into coke, gas, and tar. This production took place at the Oslo Gasworks at Ankertorget. The gas was used both in private households and by industry. ***** Oslofilm was a series of public information films about life in and around Oslo, produced between 1940 and 1980. Funded by the state, the films offer valuable insight into postwar Norwegian society. A wide range of Norwegian filmmakers contributed to the productions, resulting in a rich variety of styles and expressions. Several of the films also possess notable cinematic qualities, standing out as more than just informational material. The Oslofilms represent a unique and important chapter in Norwegian film history.
