Driven from his throne by the scheming Targon, the King of Paloma is banished to the prison mines, where his son, Pietro, is bayoneted for protesting. A shipwreck allows the king to escape and find refuge with his followers on Paloma's rocky shore. Myrtle Meers breaks her engagement with Larry Fields when he proves to be a coward. Fields goes to work in his father's Pennsylvania coal mines to find his manhood. There he thwarts a plan to control the mines, rescues June Waugh, the girl he loves, and wins self-respect.

Among Lotte Reiniger's commissioned pieces are several advertising films for the Julius Pinschewer agency, including: "Das Geheimnis der Marquisin" (The Secret of the Marquise) for Nivea skin cream and "Die Barcarole" (The Barcarole) for Pralinés Mauxion dessert. Other pieces commissioned by Pinschewer (e.g. a commercial for ink) are considered lost. "Die Barcarole" is an unusual take on the "Romeo and Juliet" theme, with the suitors arriving in Venetian gondolas (a barcarole is a musical piece whose measure is designed to resemble the swaying of a gondola).

Trying to rustle up some breakfast, Felix tries to steal milk, chases a chicken to get her eggs and finally winds up fighting such sea creatures as a turtle, an octopus and a shark for food.

The Heart of Cleveland is a 29 minute silent film produced for The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company in 1924. The film tells the story of a family living 50 minutes from Cleveland that still does not have electricity. A pilot has to make a landing on their farm and tells them about the wonders of radio and electricity. He then takes their two young children on a plane to Cleveland where they get to see first-hand the fantastic progress and prosperity that electricity brings.

Ausonia is a poor circus performer, widowed and unemployed, with two young daughters. He succeeds to get hired in the theater of a fair run by Madame Mons and her daughter Paulete. Soon fired for having refused the owner's amorous proposals, he gets into trouble.

The "Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold, Bund der republikanischen Kriegsteilnehmer" (Black-Red-Gold Imperial Banner, League of Republican War Veterans) was founded in Magdeburg in February 1924 as a non-partisan alliance of the SPD, the liberal German Democratic Party, and the Catholic Center Party. The banner saw itself as a "protective organization for the republic and democracy." Initially conceived as a war veterans' association, it was both a registered association and a paramilitary fighting league.

A young woman is told by her dying father about a treasure he left for her buried in the woods. Later, after helping a man assaulted by a gangster, she confides in him her hidden inheritance. Unfortunately, a bandid listens to the whole conversation, and a race for the treasure ensues.

The widow Marta is employed as a nurse in San Sebastián to support her children. Josetxu, who is now an adult, works at Altos Hornos and Edurne is a dressmaker. Evicted by the landlord, the student Alberto helps the family out of love for Edurne.

The relatives of wealthy, unmarried and slightly eccentric uncle James are all after his money -except his nice Ginette. She brings him to adopt two war orpahns and shows him, how his other relatives raely "love" him. But suddenly the orphans' father, a Lieutenat stands at the door of the house.

London is viewed from the 'new and fascinating angle' of Regent's Canal, passing from the docks in Limehouse through east London, under Mile End Road, past Hackney, King's Cross, Kentish Town, Camden Lock and London Zoo, finishing in Paddington Basin.

Two cowboys are in love with a single lass. A hypnotist shows up one as a sheik which turns her affections to the other. Morrison as the "sheik" desires to regain her interest. He studies hypnotism. His powers of putting his fellow ranchmen, who are wise to the situation, asleep, works to perfection. But his competitor does not fall but fells him instead. This reawakens the girl's interests and she forgets about the sheik qualities of the other cowboy as played by Morrison.

Panoramic images of La Concha Bay, Miramar Palace, the Prince's Theater, Santa María Church, and Alderdi Eder Park (where a parade of soldiers, authorities from all the Basque provinces, and the Miqueletes corps take place to commemorate Guipúzcoa Day, celebrated on March 16, 1924). In the stands, alongside the authorities, are the Bishop of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Bishop of Pamplona, the military governor, and the entire delegation from the San Sebastián City Council, which finally gathers in full force in front of the Guipúzcoa Provincial Council building.

Kvist-Mor in Brostugan, Sweden, has opened the floating bridge for seafarers for 25 years. It is usually used by cyclists and pedestrians, horse and carriage and cars. Here we see the opening when the ship Gustav Wasa passes. Also pictures from when the village men of the area gather for a fiddler's meeting in Leksand.

"Hunky" Dorrey and "Dinky Dubbs are on the run from the cops. They consider getting a job. After one gets his face blackened from a car's exhaust, they see an ad for a "colored Pullman porter". Mistaken identity due to accidental blackface drives the remainder of the plot. The two wind up on a train, where they run into the police again.

MPs take to the Oval for a game of cricket.

Luis Gelán, a world-famous boxer known for his rapid and glorious career, nicknamed the Bull of the Pampas, who left boxing for love of his wife Isabel, lives with them at the Los Sauces ranch. Meanwhile, Bob Jackson, his former sparring partner, also retired, awaits the opportunity when Gelán returns to the ring and needs him. It is then that his sick son needs medication, and he decides to return to boxing.
