"Häiden Vietto Karjalan Runomailla" ( Karelian Wedding In The Land Of The Kalevala ) is an early and valuable documentary ( more exactly, a recreation ), an ethnological Finnish silent film about a traditional Karelian wedding. It was the work of an expedition of Finnish ethnologists in the silent year of 1920, headed by Herr A. O. Väisänen of the Kalevala society.

James Smith, millionaire Bible publisher, is concerned with spending the fortune he has acquired, while his wife, remembering their thrifty days, strives to make every penny count, despite the extravagant example set by Lucille, the wife of lawyer Edward Early. Smith receives a letter from two lady friends, both planning to visit him at his Atlantic City bungalow, and seeks the aid of Early, a neighbor. Both wives become suspicious and have a detective investigate the situation.

At a house party, Jack Tanner, one of the guests, accidentally falls into a fountain. To ward off a cold, he gets drunk. While in this condition, he mistakes his room and enters the bathroom next to Julia Paddington's boudoir and goes to sleep in the bathtub. The next morning Mrs. Paddington insists that he has compromised her daughter's reputation beyond repair unless he marries her.

Mutt inherits a fortune on condition that he marry before a certain day. Not being able to find a suitable lady who is willing, he dresses Jeff up in a female costume, drags him to the law office, and claims the money. Thereupon he is told that the will states that the money must remain in the bank until the first child is born.

Max draws Koko on the drawing board. He then receives a call and leaves. Koko leaves after but not before taking some money from Max's wallet that he left behind. Max arrives to his date then comes back to his office to get his wallet. After recovering it, he drives with his date to get twelve gallons of gas. Koko arrives just as the pump is going and mischievously takes the hose from the car as the hose falls to the ground unknowingly to anyone else. Just as the wasted twelve gallons are up, Koko puts it back in the car before Max retrieves it! He gets his wallet and finds his money gone so he excuses himself.

The narrative on the espionage activities is rather fragmented. 'La Libre Belgique' focusses mainly on the distribution and the final prosecution of Gabrielle Petit.

Deceit (sometimes referred to as The Deceit) is a 1923 American silent black-and-white film. It is a conventional melodrama directed by Oscar Micheaux.[1] Like many of Micheaux's films, Deceit casts clerics in a negative light.[2] Although the film was shot in 1921, it was not released until 1923.[3] It is not known whether the film currently survives,[4] which suggests that it is a lost film. The 1922 film The Hypocrite was shown within Deceit as a film within a film.

On a magnificent estate on the coast of Scania live a landowner, his wife, their daughter and a temporary lodger, baron. The lord and lady of the house eagerly try to bring the baron into the family as their son-in-law, but neither the baron nor their daughter, Eva, seem particularly interested. Eva is a bit of a wildcat who spends her days roaming the countryside and play fighting with her male friends, while the baron yearns for the urban sophistication of the city life from which he came. When an old friend, the celebrated actress Aspesia, invites him to attend some nearby film shoots, he doesn’t hesitate for a second. In March and April 1921 several weeks were spent by Elsdon Best, Johannes Anderson and James McDonald, of the Dominion Museum, at Koriniti, Hiruharama and Pipiriki in the Whanganui River valley. The scenes in this film record games such as skipping and string games, crafts such as dyeing and weaving of harakeke, cultivation and fishing. The making of hinaki for eels and the setting of traps in the weirs are shown in detail.

A canary gets more than she bargained for when she falls in love with another bird.

A countess, discovering that a painting of her provocatively dressed as Salome by the artist Osvaldo Mars is to be publicly exhibited, slashes the canvas. When he is found dead soon afterwards she is suspected of his murder.

Irving Cummings stars in this tale of a Royal Canadian Mountie who is nursed back to health by a beautiful young girl after being attacked by thugs. One of the few surviving films starring Cummings, who would later become a successful director of films such as In Old Arizona (1928), Curly Top (1940) and That Night in Rio (1941).

Wall Street broker Harry Fenton is just about to declare bankruptcy. He uses his fiancee, Emily Heath, to get a loan from wealthy businessman Stephen Strange. Infatuated with Emily, Strange tries to bribe her into breaking her engagement with the crooked Fenton. She takes the check, but then begins to have second thoughts about just who it is she wants.

Beating the Game is a 1921 silent Western.

Max, Suzanne's boyfriend, has been kidnapped by baron de Hofland, a rich foreigner who covets Suzanne. Hofland has locked up Max in one of the many villas he owns and uses as hideouts.
