The Honourable Dr. Māui Pōmare (Ngāti Mutunga, Ngāti Toa) is one of a large number of manuhiri who converge on Kāingarakiraki, a homestead in Ōtaki, to attend the tangi of Heeni Te Rei. Kuia and whānau sit with the tūpāpaku in the tent throughout the tangi. Various kaumātua deliver their whaikōrero, and there are brief shots of korowai and whāriki on display. Later, a horse-drawn glass hearse takes the tūpāpāku from the home to Rangiātea Church. A brass band leads the procession as it continues along the main street of Otaki, to the hill rising above the urupā at the rear of the Rangiātea Church, where she is laid to rest. There is much amusement and clowning around for the camera during preparations for the hākari. A group of young Māori girls perform the canoe poi to the accompaniment of the banjo by Hēnare Tahiwi and violin by Ellen Cook.

A traveling theatrical troupe is stranded in a small town, and the leading ingenue, Polly, returns to her New York City hometown broke. She and her friend Bunny, desperate for a job, convince the Hawkers, a "nouveau riche" family from Kansas, that they are French and an experienced maid-and-butler team. Young Zeke Hawker is smitten with Polly, but Polly is attracted to their neighbor, a famous actor named MacGillicuddy. One night at a swanky party given by Mrs. Hawker, her jewels wind up stolen, and Polly is suspected of it. Complications ensue until Polly discovers who the real thieves are.

According to an information in the George P. Johnson Collection at the UCLA Special Collections Library, this was the first release of The Afro-American Film Exhibitors Co. of Kansas City, Missouri.

A policeman who has been fired by his chief after a violent quarrel is given a home by a farmer. As his host looks very much like a vagrant the peasant dubs him 'Pousse-Pierre'. Actually Pousse-Pierre will prove very handy since he will save Miette, the farmer's daughter, and manage - at the risk of his own life - to have the murderer of a miller arrested. His superior reinstates him and the young man can marry Miette.

Carmen is an employee at the posh Harrod's store in Buenos Aires. She meets Juan Manuel, a young man from a wealthy family. An impossible relationship will arise between the two of them against their different social classes.
