In one corner of the room, a cinematographic apparatus had been installed, graciously loaned by the Lima Theater and Cinema Company, and at the back a screen, on which was projected the beautiful and detailed film that Mr. Larco had impressed some years ago and which reproduces in all its aspects the development of agricultural work on the great Chiclín estate and very interesting facets of social life in the town adjacent to the estate, especially drawing attention to the scenes of the celebration of the national holidays in a brilliant manner on the estate.

The film "From Lima to Cerro de Pasco" was shot from the aircraft of the intrepid English aviator, Mr. Sison, by Mr. J.M. McGarrigle, who during the European war was in the service of the American government filming. This is undoubtedly the most important film made in Peru, judged both artistically and for its photographic perfection, which will make us admire the beautiful landscapes of the Andes.

Once again, the voluptuous figure and sensual legend of the Creole artist, loved by a Spanish viceroy, suggest a work of art.

The film opens with the parade of carriages and pedestrians heading to the National Stadium on the opening day of the tournament. Next, the members of the delegations, sports authorities, spectators, and teams participating in the championship appear on screen. Then come the matches and their exciting moments, with some scenes from our footballers' training in Ancón shown on the screen beforehand. The captions, well-written and engaging, were created by our colleague, Mr. Luis Palma, sports editor of the leading newspaper.

It contains: The Archbishop of Lima, Emilio Lisson, and the Peruvian community in Paris lay a wreath at the tomb of Admiral Petit-Thouars; views of the attendees, including Messrs. Enrique Goitizolo, Juan Bautista de Lavalle, the García Calderón brothers, Víctor Maúrtua, and Carlos Rey de Castro.

It includes: more than 25,000 people awaiting the arrival of the remains; the disembarkation of the remains brought from the Iquitos and their transfer to the mortuary chamber; the funeral procession in Callao; the arrival of the remains at the Church of La Merced and the Cathedral; the tribute from the President, ministers, diplomats, and workers' delegations; the coffin on the gun carriage heading to the cemetery; mourners and the official procession; workers' societies with students; the Chorrillos Military School and the closing of the parade by the Army.

Details of the festivities held in Arica with the attendance of political figures from Chile and Bolivia. As is known, this line has been built to absorb the commercial traffic of northern Bolivia, which is currently carried out through Mollendo. The inhabitants of Lima and the surrounding area have the opportunity to get to know Arica, to see the legendary Morro; the sons of Tacna will be transported in their hearts to their homeland. Views of the dock of the port of Arica as General Montes departs aboard the O’Higgins; departure from the Arica station of the inaugural train with the official entourage. [...] This brilliant film of the festivities for the inauguration of the railway from Arica to La Paz is a historical document of inestimable value, its evocative and vibrant relevance.

It contains: the May Day workers' festival; the patriotic pilgrimage of May 2; the departure from mass at the main church of Callao on May 11, 1913, and a stroll along the Figueredo boardwalk; interclub regattas in the bay of Callao; a party aboard the cruiser Almirante Grau; maneuvers of the submarine Ferré.

Second attempt at producing a regularly appearing newsreel. The previous attempt was the so-called Cinema Theater Magazine, later called National Magazine, which appeared in 1910. It contains: a scavenger hunt at the Barranco baths; a reception hosted by Mr. Manuel Quimper's political friends at the Zoological Park restaurant; a workers' demonstration in honor of their candidate, Mr. Espinoza, for the congressional seat; luncheon at the Grand Hotel; an agricultural festival at the Chacra Cerro estate; details of the recent political elections; and the funeral of the commander of the Roma Fire Brigade.
