Nightmare is a 1953 Hong Kong thriller film written and directed by Yin Wang. The film was produced by Runde Shaw for Shaw and Sons.

Yeh Wei-fang, a rich young lady, flirts with her suitors and hopes it would make Shi Rongsheng, the cousin she loves, angry. But Rongsheng doesn’t pay attention to that, and lectures her for lacking self-respect. Tao Wen-ping, Rongsheng's friend, gets to know Wei-fang. He invites her to go to the resort house borrowed from Rongsheng, but is fooled by her. Wen-ping gets to know Fang's sister, Wei-ling, by chance. Sharing common interests, Wei-ling grows a secret love for him. Wei-fang's home has a JP’s son as a guest. Rongsheng invites Wen-ping to join. Wei-fang knows that Wei-ling likes Wen-ping, but she shows intimacy towards him. Another guest, the antiquary Prof Ho Chi-hua, arrives, he is infatuated with Wei-fang. Wei-fang shows zeal for both, who in the end quarrel and fight. Wei-fang finally declares her love for Rongsheng under the pressure from Wen-ping and Chi-hua, who had a fight over her. Rongsheng's evasiveness proves weak for Wei-fang's quest for his love.

While most films at the time usually depict how grassroots people rise above adversity, this one tells the story of a famed actress who thrives for success and never gives up on her artistic ambition. This reflects that women's liberation and employment was a dominating theme in left-wing movies. The finale was shot in Eastman colour negative film, which was rare before mid-60s given the limited technical resources in Hong Kong film industry, and thus a valuable record in the city's cinematic history.

Ma, meanwhile, charms her way into Detective Wong's investigation squad. Fai and the detective make a narrow escape from death but are dealt another setback, with Fai's mother and Yuk-wah abducted. John Woo's experimental short film, made during his time in college. The line between genuine love and violent obsession is blurred when a man falls for a girl and proceeds to tie her up with rope to him, making her follow him around and bend to his whims until tragedy ultimately befalls them both.

This was an adaptation of a ghost story, “A Xiu”. Liu Zigu is on his way to visit his uncle and is attracted by a beautiful girl, A Xiu. Liu meets A Xiu again in a paper fan shop owned by A Xiu's father. Liu goes to the shop every day to buy a fan and see A Xiu. One day, Liu follows his uncle to a matchmaker, who arranges for A Xiu to become his bride. The following day, Liu and A Xiu visit a temple where they meet a ghost who looks very similar to A Xiu. On the wedding day, the ghost disguises itself as A Xiu to spoil her marriage with Liu. Finally, the ghost is in the custody of a magic fan, and Liu and Xiu complete their wedding.

A rare Filmark production. This uses over an hour of new footage from the 1983 Thai action film เสือภูพาน ("Tiger Phu Phan") starring Sorapong Chatree and mixes that with some newly shot Hong Kong footage.

A remake of the American film Ruthless People. Sean Lau plays a rich, fast-food chain owner named Lam Chak-chi. Mr. Lam hates his wife but married her so that he could inherit the fast-food chain from her father. He decides he will kill his wife, but before he gets his chance she is kidnapped. Shortly after, the kidnappers demand ransom money or else they will kill his wife. By telling the police one thing and the kidnappers another, he hopes to get rid of his wife, keep the cash and come out of it all without being suspected of any wrongdoings. However, things don't go the way Mr. Lam expects. Lau Ching Wan also plays his twin brother, who is one of the kidnappers.

In late 1989, angered by comments made by Liv Ullmann about Hong Kong's treatment of Vietnamese refugees, Rubie composes a letter to the actress. Passages from the letter are revealed throughout the movie as Rubie, her friends, and family come to terms with the impending handover to China, and decide whether to remain in Hong Kong or emigrate abroad

A modeling school has become the recruitment center for a prostitution ring led by local crime boss Tiger. During the Sung Dynasty, there is an order of monks enforces their own regulations harshly. Chang Chen-Wai, a martial arts expert who runs a jade-importing business, follows his missing brother to Thailand and learns he has been murdered. Chang vows revenge.

Housewife Mrs. Chan was living a happy life, with her husband's love and a lovely son, but an accident completely destroyed her life. After robbing a bank, three robbers hid in the Chan family home, tied up Mrs. Chan and her son, and humiliated them. For the safety of her son, Mrs. Chan was forced to cooperate with them, and even slept with the stupid robbers to save her son. Later, Mrs. Chan found out that her husband had an affair with his secretary, and her son disappeared when he escaped. Mrs. Chan thought he was dead. After experiencing multiple blows, Mrs. Chan's temperament changed completely. She even cooperated with her husband's mistress and killed the three robbers one by one. Although she escaped from death, Mrs. Chan had given up on her husband. Fortunately, she found that her son was still alive, which made her regain the meaning of life.

The world of illegal kickboxing is a dangerous jungle! The fighters are surrounded by prostitution, loan sharking, drugs and guns. Not to be outdone, he ended up murdering the treacherous Ao for his own gains. With blades and blood, Xian was later hailed as a legendary detective.
