A retired hitman is forced to do one last job.

Hasan and Davod are two friends of old times who are living together. Hasan is continuously writing screenplays which are all about a dark and bitter space, so the producers do not want them. Hasan loves Mahshid who is the daughter of a wealthy family. Due to his financial situation, Hasan is humiliated by Mahshid's uncle who is taking care of her. Hasan who is upset about this condition, decides to write a screenplay favorite to the producers so he writes it and goes to a producer who has always rejected his screenplays. He begins reading his new screenplay to him. When he finishes reading the screenplay, the producer buys it enthusiastically so Hasan can be wealthy too.

Yoshida is a young man working part-time at a convenience store. Filming individuals engaged in their careers conveys the documentary aspect. At a symbolic level, the fossil is a leitmotif suggesting past and present. The title of the film refers to the state butterfly of Mississippi, Spicebush Swallowtail. In the film, Mississippi is a place of origin. The Spicebush Swallowtail represents renewal or starting over. Throughout the film, a little girl appears in different guises and settings, functioning indirectly in the role of the chorus. The scripted scenes, shot in a documentary style, collaged with the other scenes begin to create the traces of a narrative structure.

A documentary that follows the underground Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (People's War) between its first and second congresses, and documents the struggles it undertakes.

From 2000 to 2007, Teat(r)o Oficina Uzyna Uzona worked on the staging of Euclides da Cunha's epic book, Os Sertões, which describes the 19th Century War of Canudos in the Brazilian "sertão," lead by Antônio Conselheiro. The final result was a pentalogy of plays. This forth play deals with the cause of the war, when a judge from Juazeiro stopped a shipment of wood that was paid for from being delivered for the construction of the New Church of Canudos. Three expeditions were sent by the National Army and defeated, the last one commanded by the famous Colonel Moreira César. The Army faced the humiliation of soldiers deserting and running away, and the impaling of Colonel Tamarindo. He ended up being the main character in a macabre installation on the road to Canudos, created by the Jagunços (thugs from the sertão) and the Mandrakes to intimidate new expeditions.

This is not a “divorce” story, but rather the complex and proactive paths a young woman takes to rebuild her life. Silvia will open her heart to love and experience a new dimension of her growth into adulthood to become a strong woman and an amazing person. As she follows her heart, fate will play its part and she will have to choose between life as it unfolds or take a huge turn to save her love for her son in ways she could never have imagined.

This compelling documentary chronicles the lives of Cuban Jews who left Cuba in 1960, after having resided there since the early 1900s. The film deals with the political impact that the Castro regime had on these people, their lives and their culture. It also profiles the community still living there – looking at their fight to maintain closeness to their Jewish roots and practice their Judaism, as well as tracing how they arrived in Cuba. A fascinating and fresh portrait of a little known group in a country fraught with political turmoil.
