Hustlas is a dark comedy about strife and loss. Take a wild ride with the crew of the L.A. News, a motley crew of door-to-door newspaper salesmen whose lives are forever changed during a scorching summer week in L.A. They lie, cheat, and brawl with each other to win a cash prize for the most newspapers sold. These guys will pull just about any stunt to win - even enlisting the help of a hardcore gangster!

The TauTona mine in South Africa, known as 'Western Deep' is the world's deepest gold mine. Employing more than 5,000 people, it operates twenty-four hours day. The film begins in complete darkness as the miners descend three-and-a-half kilometres underground. McQueen documents an intense work regime where the temperature can reach over ninety degrees celsius. Accompanied by jarring sounds created by the mechanical equipment, Western Deep is a hellish representation of labour that makes the silent resolve of the miners all the more powerful.

But when they wash and dry it, the flag goes "missing" again. This takes Budi and Rosi on an "adventure" to find the flag again.

In many encounters Rank could not recognize them, even if the shared moments had been wonderful. As an adult woman, Rose's love is too painful to go on, and she has dire consequences.

At the end of 70ies, when individual houses were getting destroyed in the Latvian countryside to put everyone in Soviet kolkhozs, painters Inta Celmiņa and Edvards Grūbe bought a house in Vidzeme, far away from everybody. It was a new beginning for the house, and for the artists as well, who now lead a double life, spending winters in Riga, and summers - in their workshop in the countryside. It's a story about the classic values of Latvian painting and the environment that breeds it.
