Diving headfirst into the theories surrounding the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, this fascinating program looks at the tragedy in light of the Cold War and America's political and cultural climate at the time. Special features include the first digital rendering of the famous Zapruder film, the only known color footage of Lee Harvey Oswald and a surprising link between Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and the FBI's report on Oswald.

Routemaster is a montage of rhythmically organised repetitions and involves an abstraction of motion that increases in frequency and scale. The basic framework of the film is provided by intercutting of two counterposed materials. On the one hand, it uses black-and-white, endlessly accelerating and rhythmically varying images of the inexorable forward motion of the racing cars. On the other hand, it uses colourful, extreme slow-motion images of details of a chequered flag fluttering in the wind. The escalating speed, growing abstraction and mosaic-like repetition of images leads on to manipulated, yet realistic images of human bodies used in crash tests. In the end, all that is left is the black-and-white flash of speed, the gyrating pulse of the mosaic, the details of the human bodies and the intense soundtrack. Routemaster has some of the qualities of a live concert.

Matthew Kang, a young management consultant (Yoon) is struck by a car and sustains a serious concussion. Terminated by his employer and dumped by his vaguely leftist bohemian girlfriend, Matthew derives a wicked sense of humor from the weirdness of his own situation, and in the process slowly rediscovers himself and life's deeper meanings.

While Howard at first rejected traditional cancer treatments in favor of alternative therapy, and then embraced chemotherapy and liver transplants as last-ditch attempts to save his life, the film's ultimate focus is on Howard's spiritual progression as he adjusts to the notion of his passing. "Death: A Love Story" was enthusiastically received when screened at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.

Documentary about the Roma theater of the same name in Kosice, Slovakia, which is organized and run exclusively by Roma and is unique in Europe. After more than 40 years of silence and social and artistic exclusion of the Roma, ROMATHAN is a first cautious step toward carving out a "space of normality" in an otherwise hostile environment. The ensemble has given us an insight into its everyday theater life, and we encounter its members as artistic and creative people who are learning to regain their dignity and self-confidence.

"Different Moms" briefly documents the lives of three mothers with mental impairment ~ Elaine Mayfield, Margaret Main, and Juanita Ingraham ~ as they raise their children of "normal", or "average", intelligence, following the challenges which they face, and overcome, on a daily basis.
