Miroslav Donutil's entertaining show takes you to a club on Šelepova Street in Brno, which left an indelible mark on Moravian cultural life in the 1960s. That is why the actor chose this place to reminisce about his student years in Brno. Few people can tell stories with such enthusiasm as he can, few people can find stories with punchlines even in simple everyday situations, and few people can so accurately capture and then portray the individual people he has met in his acting career.

The holiest mountain in Asia, in a far away corner of west Tibet, amidst wild and ragged landscape, nearly entirely cut off from the rest of the world, is called Kailash. For the pilgrims of four religions this 6675m high mountain is the ‘throne of gods’, or ‘navel of the world’ – a place where the divine takes an earthly shape. For thousands of years pilgrims have travelled to this place to worship the mystery of the mountain circumnavigating it on foot. The path around Kailash is an archaic ‘path of initiation’. Florian Fricke and filmmaker Frank Fiedler (also an original founding Popol Vuh member) made their own spiritual trek along this path and documented the journey. Accompanying epic landscape scenes in the film is the music of Florian Fricke and Popol Vuh, spiritual music inspired by this unique journey.

Experimental feature based on the play "Ritual for a Poet in B Natural" by the American poet Kain. The film is the final part of the "Urban Wasteland Serial", Kaganof's trilogy about egocentric men, who are basically very lonely. This feature is about a black man who kills his white girlfriend. During profound debates with the female prosecutor and his girlfriend, it gradually becomes apparent that he really wanted to kill his mother. "The Turner Revelation" is a complex style experiment about race, education, prejudice and fierce sexual urges in which Kaganof uses a violently moving camera and extreme close-ups to visualise the desolate inner landscape of the protagonists.

"Our apartment was one hundred years old, and it was haunted. Friends suggested that we paint a black spot on the ceiling to get rid of the ghost. She wasn't a bad ghost, she was just an old hooker. She kept turning the front hall light on and off, and opening doors for her johns, who came at all hours of the night. She loved sex and she loved parties, so we were forced to have sex and parties all the time to appease her. Other ghosts were also there: immigrants who spoke neither English nor French. They had come from far away, and longed to return to their homelands. Sometimes they sang sad songs. Shimmer started as their story. My grandmother's story, my parents' story and mine got mixed up with theirs along the way." - Nelson Henricks

Zap : a "zap" is a rapid fire tactic that "Act Up" (the association for the struggle against AIDS) uses against a celebrity, a group or an institution. It consists of a very targeted protest which contests the present dialogue in the struggle against AIDS. Due to the small number of participants it is important that everyone remains loyal to their spokesperson. The success of the "zap" depends on a contrast between the calmness and stubbornness of the spokesperson, and the "latent violence" of the group. "From "Act Up" Paris we have become familiar with their actions which often involved the media... In "Act Up" Paris, I know some militants, either as friend or from having gone with them to several take-overs at protest marches. This film is a chronicle of 2 weeks spent with some of them".

One knows how to love and how to hurt. Art students Naoya and Kono. They are different types but like each other. They ask Reiko, an art model who comes to their drawing class, to be their model for an extra-curricular production. The two are simultaneously attracted to her shadowy side, but while Kono falls straight for Reiko, Naoya worries that he is unable to portray her true self, and begins to search for a veil over Reiko's true face. Kono receives pocket money from his companion's lover through mother-son-like conversations. Naoya visits Reiko's house and takes off his coat in front of the front door. The accumulation of small details creates quiet pauses that not only highlight the outlines of the characters, but also give the film an elegance and tranquillity that is probably a quality of the director.
