Jean Burg is obsessed with purity and divine punishment. His first sermon, uncompromising in tone, provokes hostile reactions among the villagers. The parishioners complain about him to the synod council. The young pastor is threatened with suspension for mental incapacity. Scared, Jean Burg tries to get closer to his flock. He doesn't know that Geneviève, the very attractive daughter of the richest man in the village, is about to turn his life upside down...

WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH is a short film concerned with both the apathy of human receptivity and the perverse nature of free floating paranoia so artfully ingrained in women. it is a tiny horror film, with the soundtrack skipping blithely over the literal graves of millions and the metaphorical grave of one's feelings of safety.

Driven out of Tibet and the eastern Himalayas, the Akha have fought their way to the extreme north of Thailand and Burma. Hostile to outsiders, the Akha today are the living remnants of a former time, the bygone era of the Chinese Middle Empire. The Akha have a dangerously bad reputation: smuggling, destroying the forest, ignoring frontiers, growing opium. If they remain in the hills the Thaï will eventually destroy them, if they accept to go down to the valleys they will surely die of disease. The Akha are running out of options.

The Tea Pot is a rendition of Hans C. Anderson's tale by the same name. The Tea Pot tells of the three major phases of its life – from its youth, when beauty and identification are paramount, through maturity spent lovingly caring for others, to the golden age where memories of a rich life somewhat soften the hard reality of obsolescence.

Description: Mountains of Gold is a unique chronicle of a nomadic, hunter gatherer society undergoing the profound change to a money economy over a ten-year period. This tribe was first discovered by Australian explorers in 1938. Original footage shows the people's amazement at seeing their "white ancestors" in their midst. Until 1984, when gold was discovered on their land, the Ipini's wealth was still being measured by how many wives and pigs they had. When they decided to sell their land to the goldmining company, their way of life would change forever. The mining company began the long and arduous process of bargaining with the Ipini who were surprisingly skilled negotiators.

Love that takes one step back and two steps forward. A man who likes to reason and seems to be able to talk as much as he wants, and a woman whose words cannot keep up with her feelings. The two young lovers have opposite personalities and quarrel constantly over trivial matters. However, their quarrels usually end with the man arguing unilaterally, but that day was different. The woman's resentment exploded. Will it be the end for them? A little love that exists everywhere. The quarrels and make-ups that all lovers repeat. The film succeeds in creating a love that is unique to these two people by casually but carefully depicting "why does he love her like that" and "why does she love him like that", despite the fact that this is a typical example.

An anonymous couple comes to the maternity ward. The woman is immobilized in the bed, the man is in the waiting room. Doctors and nurses decide to have a drunken party. A mysterious guest will help Benio come into the world. An animated joke by Marek Serafinski, a creator and producer of animated films, graphic artist and content creator. From the very beginning, the artist used a combined technique, manipulating shots and graphics. Chronicle pictures of life of the 1980s and 1990s were diversified by including fantastic characters and phenomena. "The Birth" is a grotesque view of the reality of hospital births, the separation of fathers, the isolation of women, and alcohol consumption during working hours.

In Culture Wars the civil war for cultural values being fought by right-wing conservatives and gay activists is chillingly depicted: after activists convince authorities to acknowledge the 1990 murder of Julio Rivera in Queens as a hate crime, the murderers are convicted;Jesse Helms uses the public television broadcast of Marlon Rigg’s Tongues Untied to attack the National Endowment for the Arts; and local activists successfully campaign against Oregon’s Religious-Right-sponsored Ballot Measure 9, the first of many initiatives nationwide seeking to curtail civil rights.

They blink, they grimace, they jerk, they moan. No matter how hard they try, their bodies, minds, and voices won't do what they're told. People with Tourette Syndrome (TS) , a rare and incurable genetic disorder, are the subject of the irreverently titled Twitch and Shout, a riveting, unsettling, and frequently funny inside look at what it's like to live with this often misunderstood neurological condition. Twitch and Shout not only sheds light on the nature of this puzzling disorder, it also examines the way society all too often heaps scorn and abuse on those who stray, however involuntarily, outside the limits of conventional behavior.

Between 1989 and 1990, photographer Mary Ellen Mark went to India to document the lives of circus performers—a journey that resulted in her book “Indian Circus,” published in 1993. In 1992, Mark and director Martin Bell returned to India to film many of the same performers. The resulting short, THE AMAZING PLASTIC LADY (1995), focuses on Pinky, a ten-year-old acrobat who, like the children in STREETWISE, lives on society’s margins. The film also continued Bell’s work with editor Nancy Baker.
