The story of quiet provincial love.

Nine-year-old Serbian girl Yulia Nikolaich mourns on the ruins of her native city of Ilidza. She begs adults not to shoot at her land, not to destroy her home, not to kill her relatives, her childhood, her fairy tale. But the adults do not listen, and blood is shed, and hatred fills the soul. The film covers the peacekeeping forces in Yugoslavia, the Ukrainian battalion in Sarajevo, and its help in restoring peace in the region.

The film tells the stories of Crimean Tatars who returned to their homeland half a century after their forced deportation by Stalin’s regime on 18 May 1944. At the heart of the film is an interview with Besibe Aksakova, an activist in the Crimean Tatar movement. She shares her own experience of exile and reflects on how, in her life story, the statuses of “war heroine” and “enemy of the people” were paradoxically combined.

An essay about love, death and death of love.

The film is dedicated to the centennial of cinema and, through a pastiche of excerpts from Balkan silent films, pays tribute to a cinema that has been almost completely forgotten. Old photographs and a modern- day train trip through the Balkans highlight the coincidences, the similarities, and the affinities that link Balkan filmmakers. A film about all the things that unite the neighbouring countries of the peninsula, which, perhaps, are many more than the things that divide them.

Film tells the story of two old men — a forester and a beekeeper. One of them is a romantic, who believes in miracles and other one is pragmatic. Each of them tells about "ikotka" — a specific illness, which affects women and is known from Karelia to the Ural. Local people call "ikotka" a creature which settles in a human body and spoils the life of it's owner.

Based on a well known children's book by Takeda Miho, the film follows a school bully Ochiai-kun and a shy girl Okada Miho-chan in their normal school days.

"Mike MacDonald's video installation Touched By The Tears of a Butterfly is the fourth in a series of installations this artist has produced over the past ten years. As with the other three, this work is a simple and direct presentation in the passive defense of ecologies. Unlike the other three, this installation utilizes a single video image thus transforming the grid which marked the earlier work as well as employing external elements in its realization. Touched By The Tears of a Butterfly consists of seven rocking chairs each a different colour and placed before a silk scrim that flutters in the breeze of an air ionizer. The viewer is invited to sit in one of the chairs to watch the fourteen minute video of a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis and preparing to fly. Togtohtor Van (1797-1868), son of Bat-Ochir of Borjgin clan popularly known as To Van, was born in Sergelen Denj on the east side of Sang Dalai Lake in Setsen Khan Province, now Dornod Province. He succeeded his father in 1822 and held the office of head of the Hebei Assembly of Setsenkhan Province for 46 years until 1868. He carried out economic reforms in the province and organized multifaceted activities of industry, agriculture, animal husbandry, science and culture, churches, schools, and markets. In 1834-1838, near Tumen-Ulziyit Hill, he founded the "Culture Enhancing Temple" and a national grammar school with more than 300 students. He wrote the book "The School That Teaches the Birth of Hebei Wang", which became famous as "Teachings of To Wang". A historical film about this legendary man.

There are no people under the modern appearance of the city that is more splendid today due to the absence of tomorrow. The end of the city, where only symbols remain, is therefore empty.
