To defy her father, Sarangue encourages Tamir, who is by now hopelessly in love with her, to stay up late, to drink a lot and neglect his training. The boxing team leaves for Europe without Tamir, but Sarangue dumps Tamir for a French anthropologist. When a former lover of Sarangue is then killed, the bitter Tamir is arrested as a suspect; now he no longer feels like one of the privileged.

With the aid of spectacular macrophotography, this film demonstrates how the common housefly has followed man throughout the ages to become one of the most enduring nuisances of the natural world. An up-close-and-personal encounter with these "common monsters" highlights their ability to propagate, feed, and avoid extinction and extermination. The result is the most extreme form of reality television you may ever see.

New Zealand’s first CGI short film gives “eyes on the road” a new meaning as a pair of eyeballs drive to a mind-bending purgatory. A collaboration between visual effects man John Sheils and his brother Michael, Scream was shot in early 1991; finally 25 minutes of footage was “brutally” edited down to three, and fulsomely scored by John Gibson. We dart inside an old tanker ship, pursued by the monster; we escape but the monster bites the tail off of our submarine, hitting the fuel tank. The captain hits the ejector button; the explosion blows us out of the water and we splash down back at the mother ship with our mission completed.
