The story's narrator then arrives to give Minnie her Christmas present - a nutcracker in the likeness of Mickey Mouse. After the party (which the narrator remarks to the other characters needs to be over in order to continue the story), Minnie, too excited to sleep, starts dancing with her new nutcracker. When midnight strikes, Mickey the Nutcracker suddenly comes to life...

The only light in the room is a soft bluish glow emerging from each barrel and diffused throughout the room. The barrels are filled to the brim with water. At the bottom of each one under the water is a black-and-white video monitor facing straight up, the source of the blue light. Video and power cables for the monitor are visible as they emerge from the floor and enter the water over the top rim of each barrel. On each screen is a close-up of a person’s face while asleep. There is an image of a different person in each barrel, actual recordings of people sleeping presented continuously with little or no editing.

Rafael Hastings was invited to participate in the Painted Bodies Experimental Workshop in Santiago, Chile, where painters from across Latin America were invited to replace painting on inert canvases with interventions on living bodies, almost as if they were canvases. In Hastings' case, he transformed his intervention into an original performance recorded on video.

A bloody drama is played out, the consequences of which are being investigated by two investigators.

A typical family almost lost hope when their daughter Sarah dies in an accident. They feel their lives will never be complete without her and are distraught about their future. Then a friend of the family steps in and helps them and teaches them the promises of salvation and the plan of happiness. The family is taught by 2 sister missionaries and they feel worthy to be baptized into the LDS church. The day of their baptism, the family has memories of Sarah and their fun times together.
