Years ago, Jean Marsan had aspirations to be a scholar. He also had a very serious romance going on. His thick-headed, uncomprehending family soon put an end to both of those unacceptable behaviors, and he spent the rest of his youth tending cows on the family farm. Now he is old, his idiot family members have died, and he's about to sell the farm (now his) to a developer. However, there are still cows to take care of until the sale goes through, and he's not as agile as he used to be. When a young local fellow offers to help him with his farm chores, he grudgingly accepts and their initially antagonistic relationship deepens over the summer. The director of this film grew up in the French Alps on a farm similar to this one and has taken care that the details of farm management are accurately and precisely depicted. Of particular interest to cheese connoisseurs is the footage of the two men making a delicious but probably unhygienic local cheese.

In order to start a new love, there is a love that needs to be redone. One day, Riho, the girl he thought he had broken up with, comes back with a withered sunflower flower. Yuji is confused, but he accepts her, but Riho and her friends have no memory of their breakup. However, not only Riho, but also his friends have no memory of their break-up, and events like déjà vu begin to occur around Yuji. When Yuji realises the truth, the sunflowers are in full bloom. This light comedy depicts the steps of the protagonist as he climbs the next step in his love life by redoing "the love he wanted to cherish more", in the flow of time from the present to past to present. The director's sense and playfulness can be felt in the supporting characters, including the protagonist's beloved car, which does not listen to him easily.

This shocking film confronts its audience with the weight of love and the consequences of human choices. Throughout the film runs a languid, melancholic atmosphere reminiscent of French cinema, wrapping its difficult subject matter in a delicate veil. Beneath its quiet surface lies a deeply unsettling and emotionally powerful exploration of love, guilt, and forgiveness.

In Galway, Ireland there is a very different station called Galway Pirate Women. For many years this group has programmed radio about the social and political life of, for and by women in Ireland.

Two former school friends, Fredi and Spiro, meet by chance. Fredi works in a remote village, while Spiro has built a successful career in the city. Spiro, now a high-ranking official, finds himself drawn to the beauty of Ana, Fredi’s wife. Suddenly, Ana is confronted with an unfamiliar side of her husband’s character. In pursuit of the career opportunity Spiro offers, Fredi fails to realize that his old friend is asking in return for something very sacred to Ana.
