Del and Rodney touch down in Miami, and hire a camper van. Very soon they run into trouble: it just so happens that Del is a dead ringer for notorious Mafia boss Don Vincenzo Occhetti, and is spotted by his sons in a bar. Occhetti is due to stand trial and destined to go down for several life sentences and, with Del's uncanny resemblance, his sons see a way out for their father. When the Trotters leave the bar, they discover their camper van has been broken into and all their possessions stolen. But this is only the start of their problems: help is soon at hand when Occhetti's sons step in as apparent Good Samaritans.

Exploring individual responses to rapid social change, Cowboy and Maria in town follows the parallel lives of its two central characters. Cowboy and Maria have independently landed in Port Moresby, negotiating ways to survive urban life in a city ranked as one of the most dangerous in the world. Cowboy is an ex-raskol (urban bandit) and Maria an inhabitant of a squatter settlement. Unemployed and with a jail record, Cowboy has constructed an electric guitar out of scrap materials and plays on street corners. Maria lives an equally precarious existence, cultivating a seasonal garden in an urban settlement inflamed by frustration and intertribal conflicts. Far from being third world victims, they go about their daily lives with humour and imagination, rising to the challenge of enormous cultural upheaval.

Based on the works of Jean Anouilh. Eurydice and Orpheus meet on the platform of a railway station along with other heroes of the film. Among them is Death, who kills Eurydice. Orpheus tries in vain to save Eurydice from the kingdom of death.

Along with the preceding release FILM RISKY the previous year, the pair of releases are the only two B'z home videos to not be later made available on DVD. However, the performances of "Dakara Sono Te wo Hanashite", "Taiyou no Komachi Angel", and "Easy Come, Easy Go!" have been included variously as bonuses accompanying B'z The Best XXV 1988-1998 and B'z COMPLETE SINGLE BOX.

In 1991, an exhibition called the “Garage Show” was held in an underground garage on Hengshan Road in Shanghai. Zhang Peili presented his video piece Hygiene No.3 at this show. On screen, a pair of hands continuously washes a live chicken in a basin using soap and water. Before the washing begins, the camera shows a plaque on the back wall that reads “Hygiene Advanced Unit.” The person washing the chicken wears a prison- or hospital-style vertically striped shirt, and his actions are mechanical and impassive.
