Based on the play by Mikhail Shatrov, staged by the Theater. Vakhtangov Street. The story of the Brest Peace, a huge and monstrous compromise that the Bolshevik government made to save the revolution, had something Shakespearean in its scope, which allowed Robert Sturua, the creator of the most fascinating Shakespearean plays (Richard III, King Lear), to stage Shatrov's play as a variation of Shakespeare's chronicles.

MOVING PICTURES began with a dream I had about a woman walking beside a woods and singing a beautiful aria. I didn’t remember the song, but for the film I selected Plaisir d’Amour by Jean Paul Égide Martini. The film soon became a series of other dream ideas as well. I wanted every scene in the film to be a tracking shot, moving from right to left like a dream scroll. I wanted the film to be quiet and contemplative, and I didn’t want to use subtitles.

North of Neuruppin lies the Ruppiner Schweiz, the smallest “Swiss” area on German soil. Fontane loved the seclusion and enigmatic appeal of this region’s landscape. As an idyllic recreational and holiday region, it attracts countless tourists every year. But the industry has left its mark: what were previously common sights in the wild can only now be found by vacationers in museums or small zoos. A film about a regional landscape, its history, and how people treat it.

Brazil, a warm, cheerful, carefree, and peaceful South American country, is an alluring destination. Even pop diva Anita Mui chose this location to film a music special, and specially invited Elaine Kong, who often imitates her, to make a cameo appearance. The story follows Anita (Anita Mui) as she flies to Brazil to find her boyfriend Ricky. Before her mission even begins, her luggage is almost stolen. Fortunately, her kindred spirit, Xiao Yu (Elaine Kong), who immigrated to Brazil with her uncle when she was ten, comes to her aid. The two thus begin a friendship. However, along the way, Anita almost misunderstands Xiao Yu as a thief. Will the two be able to break the ice and reconcile? Will Anita be able to successfully find her boyfriend Ricky?
