A bureaucratic chaos caused by an ink shortage.

In 1988, we watched a lot of horror movies, with curiosity. A few images of monsters were taken that were mixed with shots taken from TV, movies, and a sequence of a porn movie. Some of this material has been treated with corrosive chemicals. The monsters started a new life and it seemed that the film had been lost. But a hedgehog put an end to the nightmare and brought us back to the original fire.

Soprano Kathleen Battle tosses off one glittering vocal display after another as the feisty Rosina, while tenor Rowell Blake makes for an ardent Count Almaviva. Ralf Weikert conducts the lively performance, which also includes the comic duo of Enzo Dara as Dr. Bartolo and Ferruccio Furlanetto as Don Basilio.

In a place where 40 years ago thousands if lives were destroyed by industrial methods, today life asserts itself in the trite daily function of living. The documentation is about Hartheim Castle, in the past and in the present.

Echelon begins with images of Luyken’s sons, who are hitting pieces of a sarcophagus. We then see images of performances that depict a disabled woman, followed by shots of wrecked trains. In contrast to these images of destruction are images from the daily life of the artist and his art. The film ends with the demolition of a church building.

Disturbance (among the jars) is a multi-lingual adaptation of selected Gnostic texts from the Nag Hammadi library discovered in 1945/46. The structure of the piece is based around the metaphor of fragmentation, more specifically, that of a broken sentence reflecting the original condition of many of the texts. In a completely white room lit with several thousand watts of light, a veranda with seven straight-back wooden chairs faces a low pedestal of the same height on which seven 27-inch bare cathode ray tubes (display bulbs of video monitors) are positioned to form a fragmented line. The positions of the monitors can be seen in a multiplicity of ways.

II: The Erotic Intellect-Shot in Garbo's Hairdressing Salon, Hammer suggests intellectual stimulation to be as provocative as overt sexuality. III: Clip, Grab, and Paint-A sunstroke delirium as the videographer identifies with Georgia O'Keeffe and her radio obituary using a frame buffer and computer program for paintbrush and easel.

After eight years of feminist activism, ANDANTE MA NON TROPPO was Meters’ first step back towards experimental film. The camera observes a street corner from a window in Meters’ house. Turkish women meet on the sidewalk outside. Children play, dogs walk by. The shots repeat, just as the actions recorded reoccur every day.

There were two other known, but lost, Playboy Video Magazines not released to VHS, one hosted by Eloise Broady & the other by Susie Owens, but very little is known about these episodes, other than brief promos aired on Playboy at Night.

"CivvyStreet" (sometimes written as "Civvy Street") is a spin-off episode of the British television soap opera EastEnders, broadcast on BBC1 on 26 December 1988. The episode is a flashback to World War II and is set at Christmas 1942. The episode was watched by 7 million viewers.
