The Karamazovs perform a unique, broad adaptation of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors at Lincoln Center. Aired live on the PBS program Live from Lincoln Center, on June 24, 1987, the Karamazovs are joined by such "new vaudeville" acts as Avner the Eccentric and members of the troupe Vaudeville Nouveau. The five members of the Karamazovs all play major roles: Patterson and Magid as the twins Antipholus, Nelson and Williams as the twins Dromio, and Furst as William Shakespeare himself. Their modern farcical take on the play manages to incorporate everything from juggling, acrobatics and faux knife-throwing to gospel, jazz and a cross-dressing brothel madam. Many jokes make reference to American culture of the 1980s. One running gag is that nobody can pronounce "Epidamnum," a place mentioned several times over the course of the play. After each stammering attempt, all onstage actors stop, point toward the supposed location, then resume their activities.

An allegory on people being manipulated without knowing about it. An animated figure is manipulated by the animator that cannot be seen in a film screened in normal speed. however, when we slow it down we notice that even the animator is manipulated by another, unknown animator. The puppet revolts against animation. But what shall do the animator?

It is a ritual battle that takes place year after year in the location of the same name. It is known that many similar battles existed in different parts of the southern Andes; their ritualistic content has a strong basis in reality, and their antiquity is lost in the mists of time.

MAÏS is the portrait of three generations in a family of stockbreeders and graziers. The film shows how the experience of this family, who live in a small village in Aisne, is deeply rooted into the rhythm of the seasons, cattle life and machines. They are destined for farming just like the medieval « villain » was destined to work for his lord. Country life has obviously changed, everybody agrees on that. It has even become a cliché. Mechanization, television, shopping malls and entertainment have left their imprint on the way people live. This film tries to look deeper into that, not so much through the words of the people we meet, but through its viewpoint. A somehow oblique viewpoint, in order to seize what can’t be captured straightforwardly. A viewpoint that strongly draws inspiration from the art of framing.

Kurokawa Yoshimasa, Daidoji Masashi, Masunaga Toshiaki, and Arai Mariko, all members of the East Asian Anti-Japanese Armed Front " Scorpion, " were incarcerated for instigating the bombing of the Marunouchi offices of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. This film was conceived of and directed by Kurokawa whilst in prison. During the making of this film, he and his fellow members were under sentences of death or life imprisonment. As testimony to Kurokawa's idea that " the emperor system is not only an incarnation of the patriarchal principle but also the embodiment of the female principle, " the film aims " to critically examine the essence of the Japanese maternal image. "

A documentary about a daring climb to the top of Þumall (the Thumb) a mountain in Skaftafellsöraefi district, in the South of Iceland. The preparation of the climbers is shown, as well as their journey through the National Park Skaftafell, towards the root of the mountain. The climb is delayed by the weather, but eventually, Þumall is conquered.

These dual senses of literacy operate on several levels, situating a child’s consciousness within the contradictions of history comments on the illusory innocence of childhood, and the unexamined, but real, guilt of the U.S. government, its supporters and clients.

Losing her familiar shape to overeating, Lynn Hershman occupies electronic space to announce her despair and her subsequent—and partially successful—diet. Sydney 1988 - Sally and Robert are hopelessly addicted to jacking Intensity with the "stinger", a device which blasts hyper-heroin straight into the jugular vein. When Intensity supplies dry up, Robert scores from the Burgher Meister and carks it in a public dunny, but not before blabbing about his secret research with Liz and Margaret at the Institute of Brain Research. With the help of super-computer INFORB, Liz and Margaret insert subliminal audio and video triggers into a tape that stimulate opioid peptides in the brain inducing the ultimate high, but its effects are untested. The Burgher Meister and his violent goons go after Sally, Liz and Margaret seeking the tape - meanwhile the CIA hatch Operation Peptide to acquire the tape for their own population control agenda. -charybdias, CG.

The film records what happened day by day—from the BZers' point of view. This is a stop-motion animation created from 5,000 meticulously crafted drawings, developed over several years, in which humans, animals, and mythological creatures are constantly transforming. Influenced by Eastern mysticism, this animation is the result of a reflection on the concept of Yin and Yang duality, which posits that all things possess opposing characteristics originating from the same core and are therefore inseparable.
