This half-hour documentary follows the journey of two prize-winning journalists from the Chicago Sun-Times, writer, Rick Sol and photographer, Henry Gill, as they make their way through South America investigating the business of cocaine. Their journey took them from the jungles of Peru to Miami International Airport. Along the way, they also explored the high-stakes business of marijuana in Columbia. This documentary consists entirely of black and white still photographs, along with the reporter's narration, and was a precursor to the work of Ken Burns. It was nominated for a Chicago Emmy Award for "Best investigative Report".

A rarity in that not much early footage exists of Orion from the Sun period and even better since the songs are mostly Jimmy's own with little Elvis orientated tracks.

WOMEN UNDER SIEGE introduces six women who play crucial roles in this besieged Palestinian community. As mothers, teachers, organizers, laborers, and sometimes as fighters, the women of Rashadiyah provided the foundation for their people's ongoing revolution.

It was created by Murajikumamoto or Muraji Kumamoto in the early eighties as a college project. This was made in 1982 and it was shot on 8 mm film. This was originally going to be 20 minutes long.

Bored with her postgraduate studies, Barbie opts to get ready for a fantasy night of crashing a glamorous party in New York City.

Joint film work by Sikorski and artist Asia Ciba documents the atmosphere of the first months following the imposition of martial law. The atmosphere of isolation, precariousness, waiting for it to end and the need to break away from the external, political and social realm. The film was made without any specific intention, on a certain “dead” afternoon, in a cramped basement in Radna St. in Warsaw, where the artist dwelt at the time.

About the careful attitude to water.

A film documenting the life of the martyr Majed Abu Sharar, who was assassinated in Rome in 1981. The film discusses his childhood, upbringing, and his work leading up to joining the Palestinian Revolution and leading its Unified Media Office. The film contains interviews with Majed Abu Sharar, and testimonies of his friends and commrades.

For twenty years, male members of a fraternity at a major state university and their female guests have been celebrating the end of the school year by capturing and eating live salamanders. Is the "salamander-eating contest" staged by these students a fad or a tradition? A rite of passage for college men and women? Or an inhumane and senseless act? The film documents the ritual in cinema verité fashion and permits viewers to decide for themselves. Provided without narration - this short film primarily features obnoxious, loud and brawling youngsters, and develops into a competition among coeds that has strong sexual overtones.

Baron Von Raschke v. Sgt. Jacques Goulet We’re joined with Goulet, who has apparently joined the French Foreign Legion between the 81 show and this one, holding a lengthy chinlock on the Baron, and dropping an elbow for two. Curt Hennig is working as a referee at this point, for whatever reason. Goulet turns the lengthy chinlock into a lengthier choke on the mat, and then TWISTS THE EARS and that just makes the Baron upset. Baron runs him into the turnbuckles to make the comeback, but Goulet takes him down and stomps him blatantly low to cut that off before going to a bearhug. Trongaard notes that we’re nearing 7 minutes, and my timer says 6:00 at this point, so Goulet literally went to a chinlock ONE MINUTE into the match. I’m not shocked. Goulet goes to the dreaded SCORPION HOLD, which is a claw to the back of the neck and I’m not even making that up.

Newfoundland writer Harold Horwood has been called many things, but his own opinion of himself is undiminished. A former union organizer, politician in the Smallwood government, muckraking journalist, and founder of a counterculture "free school" in the 1960s, he is also an award-winning author whose regional base has not lessened his national stature.

In 1982, director Vasyl Viter shot the first feature film in Soviet cinema history on videotape. It was a film based on Pavlo Zagrebelny's essay "Clarinets of Tenderness." Pavlo Tychyna was played by the young popular theater director Valentin Kozmenko-Delinde. Pavlo Tychyna's mother was played by Nina Matvienko. It was her first role in a feature film. She also performed a romance in the film based on Tychyna's words, "That Garden, and Night, and Stars..." The music for the romance and for the film was written by the brilliant Ukrainian composer Oleg Kiva, and later this music became the basis for his amazing cantata, which was performed by the Kyiv Camerata orchestra together with Nina Matvienko.

Johnny Mathis, byname of John Royce Mathis, (born September 30, 1935, Gilmer, Texas, U.S.), American pop singer who achieved wide and enduring popularity as an angelic-voiced crooner of romantic ballads. He was perhaps best known for his affecting rendition of the Erroll Garner composition “Misty” (1959). Mathis grew up in a large working-class family in San Francisco. He developed an appreciation of music from his father, a former vaudeville performer, and, as a child, he sang regularly in church and at school events. From age 13 he also took vocal lessons, which provided him with a classical foundation for his burgeoning talent.
