The Sinila Crater in the Dieng Mountains erupted. The Warso family from Kepucukan village had to flee as the lava struck their village. In their panic, Warso left behind his elderly grandmother. The eruption made the village uninhabitable, and the residents were asked to migrate. Warso left with a heavy heart because he hadn't found his grandmother yet. However, they were reunited in the transmigrant settlement in Baturaja.

The story of an aspiring actor's adventures around the Scottish Borders and northern England with a travelling theatre group.
Keskidee, a small Jamaican bird resilient in the face of hardship, is also the name of a self-help black arts centre in London, and the theatre group who work there. Keskidee's actors and musicians were brought to New Zealand to work with communities who face similar day-to-day dilemmas and who might be encouraged to express their frustrations and anger in drama, poetry and music. Keskidee were to act as a catalyst. the film shows some of their work and their response to the people they met. Tribal elders try to show keskidee the depth of Maori roots in the land, and the complexity and pain of their present struggles: against the loss of Aroha; against the laws of pen and paper; the alienation of their land; the suppression of their language; the devaluation of their people and culture.

Yanti lives in a village with her sibling, Nur, whose psychological development is stunted. Yanti works to earn a living for the both of them. One day, she meets Arman when he accidentally hits Nur. A romance grows, but Yanti holds back when she finds out that Arman comes from a rich family. Arman’s biggest obstacle comes from his parents who disapprove of their relationship. Then Anton has a misunderstanding with Nur and he is tortured by her to the point where he has to be hospitalized. Due to this incident, Yanti moves out of town and becomes a florist. Arman’s father finally gives in and fetches Yanti for Arman’s sake.

When she is informed that Song and Young-Ah become close, she returns Young-Ah to her house. She is also informed through Young-Ah that Song has his fiancee, so that she blames him and spends disappointed time. She brings up Song's daughter named Hyeon-Suk. She suffers from the disease caused by mixed feeling of love and disappointment, and intends to register Hyeon-Suk at Song's family register before she dies. At last she completes the registration and then dies. Song regrets her death and weeps with tears.
