The young protagonist, Elżbieta, grew up in a small town bourgeois house. She rebels against the town's atmosphere and imagines that a love affair with a poet from a big city will liberate her. However, the love affair lasts only for a fleeting moment. It is the young engineers who arrive in the town to build a factory who are the real harbinger of changes in the town itself and the minds of its inhabitants. Based on a novel by Kornel Filipowicz.

A primer in satellite system operation, Send/Receive extends the critique of media as commodity by asking questions concerning the people's right to access satellites. The objective of Send/Receive was specifically to connect groups of artists on the East and West Coasts via public satellite, and it was the first artist-initiated project to do so. Part I presents an in-depth study of the politics and possibilities of using satellite networks to establish a two-way communication system for public use, as opposed to the industry-driven, militaristic and mass media uses to which satellites are currently restricted. Part 2 excerpts a live satellite feed between New York City and San Francisco.

MOJA: THE LAST AMERICAN is a cinematic statement about an obliterated old order and the decisions individuals will have to make about the shape of a new order. The Last Amencan here is not the last survivor of a holocaust as others appear in the film, but he represents a link between the old order, with its irrational urge to survive at any cost, and the possibilities of a peaceable new order.

A portrait of nature put to the music of Antonín Dvořák's New World symphony. Using Antonin Dvorak’s NEW WORLD SYMPHONY as an interpretive point for this for this film essay, Richard Mangan presents an array of nature images to parallel the evolution of life on the Eart. Using color separations, jump cuts, filters, pixilation and layered images, the appearance of a new life form supersedes each previous life form with a new and greater plateau of consciousness. Eventually, a city appears with its myriad of intricate constructs, and finally, in the last moments of the film, mankind itself appear, culminating the Earth’s evolutionary consciousness to date.

"As if pictures could think! Einschlafgeschichten doesn't really speak of bridges or railroads but rather of two girls filling the space between daytime and dreamtime with a poetic game, an endless game, a game with no end. A game which can fade out without becoming fragmentary. "Are you asleep?", one of them asks at the end of a clip – and the final shot is of the two, asleep; the game is over. The girls are played by Lara and Anna, Farocki's daughters." - Hans J. Wulff

In Variations, Angelidi creatively activates her knowledge of the history of the cinematic image and connects it to a global artistic language of an alternative, poetic cinema, while still preserving the peculiarities of her own tradition and, especially, her personal concerns. Angelidi -who appeared with the film Idees Fixes - Dies Irae (Variations on the Same Theme) in 1977 is classified among the filmmakers who emerged in the seventies with films that were "different", from an aesthetic viewpoint, and who proposed "another" kind of narrative
