Documentary dedicated to Manuel Tito Benitez, a volunteer member of the Student Federation of Panama who died in an accident while performing volunteer work in the remote region of Coclesito. The film depicts this experience and testifies to the efforts of the students in the struggle for national liberation.

Skateboarding Documentary Short

Feature-length documentary as part of Pierre Perrault's Abitibian Cycle. The filmmaker questions the past and present of Abitibi and draws up, face to face, the promises of colonization in the 1930s and the great disappointment caused by the closing of the land in the 1970s. There are witnesses to the heroic era, including the cultivator Hauris Lalancette, as well as extracts from films by Father Maurice Proulx (1934-1940).

The corpulent and ageing Ivicz, once an excellent baker, works as a deliverer now. He lives alone. At the weekends following the toilsome weekdays he is the boss. He regularly travels to the country, to work as the incorruptible referee of third class national soccer games.

Two rival companies take it too far when one side attacks Mr. Abbas, the owner of the other company. In a hopeless move, he hires a very famous thug / fighter for protection: Sahin, nicknamed "Deli" (Mad). Sahin's reputation is so intimidating that the news of him being hired causes a distress in Mr. Abbas's rivals, even before he appears in town. Things are looking up for Mr. Abbas. However, the welcome committee waiting for Sahin's arrival are shocked and disappointed at what they see: He's a bum who can hardly stand, with a bottle in his hand at all times instead of a gun. The plot is loosely based on Cat Ballou (1965).

In turn, Narcisa converses with Rafael Maino, protagonist of many films in the diary series, opening the way to images of places, objects and music that mark the life and work of the filmmaker.

In the hot summer of 1975, in the middle of the revolution, in the heat of political and social conflicts, a crime is committed in a slum neighborhood on the outskirts of Lisbon. Analyzing this crime, as its causes, its protagonists, its local and national context, the film proposes a hot reflection on the Revolutionary Process in Progress (Processo Revolucionário em Progresso ) that throughout the year and throughout the country, and on how political contradictions, Social and economic rights that divided Portugal as a result of the military coup of 25 April 1974.

The narration centers on a young woman's struggle to find a relation between her body and her self as mediated by language. The text is a poetry of formal relations that carries personal and historical implications, including the desires of the woman paradoxically voiced by a male narrator. The title suggests the vivid virtuality of dreaming; scenes repeatedly refer to both reading and sleeping.

Ultimately, A History of Dancing explores trauma I’d gathered from an insecure childhood growing up in suburban Connecticut—during which two of my siblings had died violently as teenagers. The lesson for me was that one must come to terms with death, for it is always nearby, even among the well-to-do and supposedly sheltered.

Nastasia and Vulpasin, two overwhelming wills, two forces, want to get out of their world, both of them are striving towards the light, towards another condition of existence. Their thirst for happiness is total... They both believe that they have found the saving solution in love and they both make this feeling their only refuge, their only hope. The fact that in this desperate attempt to get out of the darkness, the destinies of the two heroes collide, canceling each other out, emphasizes the tragedy of their existence without a way out, the lack of any possibility of salvation.

Mischievous boys, who consider themselves brave horsemen, teach the puppy Julbars to scare everyone. Once, to scare a neighbor girl, they painted the puppy as a tiger, and he caught a cold. Instead of helping their Julbars, the boys decided to take revenge on the girl for her kindness, and she cured the sick puppy. And she had one more friend. He who is kinder is braver, because he is kind!
