Cinematic Era: 1975 Vintage

Faith Hubley’s first solo project. Using ritualistic Goddess imagery from different ancient civilizations, she creates a new history of the world – from a feminist point of view.

Images of sixteen men and women are shown, one by one, as they run on a conveyor belt against a black background. They appear to be in a complete void. The camera films the runners from all kinds of angles: sometimes from the front, from the knees up, then in profile or a focus on one of the limbs in close up. The heavy breathing of their exertions is audible. The tight close-ups of the limbs lend the moving body parts an almost abstract, mechanical character.

The film is about the young people just finishing school.

Herminio, a student from Milan, arrives in the port town. From his old friend Carlo, the owner of the tavern, he learns about the embezzler governor, who imposed an exorbitant tax on fishermen, that the governor is going to marry his wayward son to a rich widow, the beautiful Charlotte, with whom Erminio is secretly in love, and about the sinister sea robber Gasparone, whose role is to be played... Herminio himself.

The plot depicts lives of several young people from Zagreb from the perspective of a girl carrying a “god of the play” doll.

A film adaptation of Thomyantee's novel tells the story of Dok Kaew, a young teacher from the provinces who is approached to be the female lead of a Thai movie by Pornprom, a scout and fundraiser for Sia Uthai's film production company. who accidentally came to film a movie in that area Dok Kaew agreed because she wanted to bring money to help the school. But when she really came into the Thai film industry, she found only that this industry not beautiful as it seems.

On the other hand, Reden/Delyo (Christopher de Leon) is a tribesman, a young romantic lover, and a charismatic singer. Delyo's past life goes after his present while Amanda clings to her past. The two meet and try to build a bridge and heal the wounds of their past but they fail--but they're unstoppable. Life continues even after death in a different world where their infinite love will find its way.

Old Grotzenbauer runs an industrial livestock and chicken farm on his property. His son and wife are shocked by the animal cruelty that comes with profit-maximized animal husbandry. Grotzenbauer himself becomes increasingly dependent on an unscrupulous feed supplier. And then the ventilation system in the barn breaks down...

Between 1974 and 1976, while researching for his filme "S. Bernardo", Leon Hirszman shot three documentary shorts produced by the Brazilian Ministry of Education on the chores of the men who worked in the sugar cane fields in the town of Feira de Santana, in the cocoa fields of Itabuna, and in the efforts of building households in Chã Preta.
