Cinematic Era: 1973 Vintage

8 minute animation by Morteza Momayez, an Iranian graphic designer, illustrator and animator closely associated with Kanoon. He created many iconic film posters during this era, along with a number of animations.

However, evil drug dealer Maury and his flock follow Kim to Hilary's house.

Brittany is ethnically rather different from the rest of France and is the home of the largest number of Celtic-speakers outside of the British Isles and Ireland. This French film follows one young man who leaves his Breton homeland and journeys to Paris with the intention of living there. Despite some success in finding work and friends, Paris is not home and the Parisians are not family, so he returns to work with his own people.

In a normal, free-ranging environment, the rat is more than a match for its hosts and colonies flourish. Under abnormal conditions of restricted space and limited food, a rat colony loses all 'social' constraints on behaviour. The film has implicit analogies for all animal behaviour, including humanity's. Plagues, predators and extermination attempts are among the topics discussed.

Shot in Florence and the Alps, the film contemplates traditional European labor—ice vaults, bookbinding, cooking—while largely omitting human protagonists. The Herts Camera Sutra or The Palefaces (1973) is a militant and visually fragmented critique of Belgian bourgeois society, blending documentary collage with semi-autobiographical fiction. De Hert attacks the distractions of nationalism, religion, and popular culture while exposing capitalism, social injustice, and postcolonial exploitation. A commentary on the destructive expectations of females in a male dominated society, Marilyn Times Five was made from an old stag film called "The Apple-Knockers, and the Coke"(1948) these sections of the film were set to Marilyn Monroe's song "I'm Through With Love". The film depicts a Marilyn Monroe look-a-like slowly taking her clothes off for the camera (the viewer). The woman's actions are looped several times which gives the audience a sensation of exhaustion. That exhaustion keeps building until the very end where the woman is shown crumpled on the floor in an awkward position, which makes it appear as if she is lifeless.

"Don't give up your dream" - this is how Demjén Ferenc's song goes and Gyuri darts along the endless fields on a white horse. The young crane-operator lives in a small larder-room, where he has to hang his chair on the wall and the tap drips. He has to share his mornings with his two dream "man-hunters", his father and his brother, who feel that he does not belong to them because of his desires and ambitions.

A woman who works in a night club starts having obsessive thoughts, beginning to lose her hold on reality.

The great, increasing intensity of the film results from an interaction of the actress and camera not yet attempted in this way. The phases of emotions of a life lived through in a few minutes - the theme that the film has posed - are completely expressed. Time-lapse and delay immediately express the external process, the performer adequately succeeds in demonstrating the internal processes. Interesting are the nuances with which the color scheme follows the development of the idea. This applies here in a special way also from the acoustic processing.
