Set in a spacious country home peopled with a wide-ranging cast of characters, the drama begins as the friends of a widow come to console her on the loss of her husband. Zezé is an eight-year-old boy who lives with his grandmother and suffers the drama of not having known his father. Amanda, Zezé's mother, is a beautiful but disillusioned young woman. She tells her son that his father is constantly traveling, trying to hide her own pain. Father's Day arrives and, at school, the teacher is preparing a party. Zezé, humiliated in front of his classmates, promises that he will bring his father on the day of the celebration. Zezé begs his grandmother to show him at least one photograph of his father. The old woman mistakenly gives him a photo of the singer Tony Marques, her daughter's former boyfriend. Zezé sets off to find her supposed father and ends up getting disastrously involved in the singer's life.

Utilizing engineering ingenuity that is centuries old, Atikamekw elders Agatha and Cézar Néwashish build a small-scale version of a birch-bark canoe. With their expert hands, a stunning work of art is created.

The Tide of Traffic is a 1972 British short documentary film directed by Derek Williams, made by British Petroleum as a contribution to the UN Conference on the Human Environment, Stockholm 1972. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.

Hiding enormous amounts of syndicate money from drug collections in phony expenses for movies which are never released, David encounters the movie's producer, Jan, who has sworn to kill David and regain the tender love he once shared with Tis before the cancerous power of David and his heroin displaced her need for him.

Dulkafar, leaves his hometown for three and a half years after his parents are murdered, and has now returned for vengeance. With his whip of fire, he defeats criminals while searching for the murderer of his parents. He also disguises himself as a “buaya Keroncong” or an expert singer in Keroncong music. His efforts finally pay off when he finds a woman wearing his mother’s necklace.

Aristos, a country boy, works at the Athens meat market and transports lambs from Lamia in his truck. On his journey, he accidentally picks up a fashion house director, Madame Georgette, and her daughter. When they arrive in Athens, Aristos visits the fashion house, where he is offered a job as a model. Madame Georgette, in order to save her business, intends to take the little money he has earned and use it for her younger sister's dowry. Aristos is impressed by the beautiful models, but especially by the director's daughter, Julia. He forgets his old love and the promises of marriage he had made to the sisters of the merchants in order to get credit, and spends his savings on becoming a model.

A song sets the tone, followed by an animated collage in which Super 8-film, photographs, drawings, slides, detritus and fragments from music and popular culture are used and processed. On the evening of her engagement, Vitu is denounced by his son for hiding an illegal printing press in a painter's house. Thirty years later, he returns to the slum and searches for the Vitu family. They no longer live there, the neighbors have changed, and he investigates to find out what happened to them. Nea Vițu, you raise your daughter, Rădița, and son Fănică. His wife Dorina died when Fănică was born. Apparently, family problems are difficult barriers to overcome. He's an honest man. He gets angry at the slick Fănică. Fănică is also chased away by the slum priest, because he wanted to make a new bible... where he'd be Fănică the God .... Rădița goes around with the speculator "Treispemii". In 1942, nea Vițu joins the fight against the Nazis and runs an illegal printing house with a painter...

If there are many photos taken at different times and places, and the same person appears in each photo, then by taking stop-motion pictures of those photos, it will become an animation of the same person moving. It would be fun to force the person to move. Furthermore, the large differences in the elements of each photo must produce something intense. The trigger for making this work was when I noticed that there were many photos of one person that gave me such expectations.

A sample of the most relevant and characteristic aspects of traditional Navarran culture: carnivals, pilgrimages, crafts involving farm implements and tools, agricultural work, patron saint festivals, and other manifestations of rural society and folklore unfold over 150 minutes at the pace set by the seasons. The film is a reference document of prime importance on traditional Navarrese society, which was beginning to disappear in the years when the film was shot due to the rapid transformation of the region into an industrialized society. More than thirty years later, this process has been almost completely accomplished, giving the film a unique added historical value.
