It records the zarzuela of the same name, by the maestro Alcides Prado, and it is a costumbrista fresco from Costa Rica from the beginning of the 20th century.

A behind the scenes look at the preparations for the live broadcast of the opening of Disneyland, filmed for ABC in July 1955. Initially provided to local ABC affiliates as background for the festivities, this black-and-white presentation is surprisingly frank. There are no claims about the magic of Disneyland’s construction. Instead, narrator John Fell provides matter-of-fact explanations of technical details.

To an attentive passer-by, the activities of some painters seem very suspicious. As a result of their artistic efforts, the anti-occupier slogan AMI GO HOME appears to have appeared on the wall. The outraged citizen does not succeed in persuading the craftsmen to remove the writing - he only receives amusement. The police, who were finally alerted, and the representatives of the occupying power were unable to find anything offensive about the lettering, as the full company name "Armin Gotzschomer" had developed from the letters in the meantime. In the evening, however, the lettering does convey the presumed message AMI GO HOME, as the painters have highlighted some of the letters with fluorescent paint.

For ten months a year, these native children — some taken from their homes — start each day with a religious service before heading to classes. The numerous animals that live at Antwerp zoo can rely on a small army of chefs and kitchen personnel to provide them with appropriate meals. Scientific tests are carried out in order to improve the animals' living conditions. Deceased animals are dissected in order to establish the cause of death. Everything is carefully recorded on index cards by the scientific personnel.
