Commissioner Thomas simultaneously investigates the actions of an oil company, a theft and an assassination, and the kidnapping of a child with look-alikes.

King Rajendra Varman and Queen Mrinalini are reigning the Vyjayanti empire. Mahendra Varman is the rival and the neighbouring king. Kannika is the minister’s daughter, who is in love with King Rajendra Varman and aims to attain him at any cost. This convoluted tale of palace intrigue, suspicion, unreciprocated love, seduction, villainy and piety was interspersed with excellent music.

Petty Officer Blake recalls his early days in the British Navy, and through his eyes we see many aspects of preliminary training leading to life aboard a contemporary destroyer. Produced with the co-operation of the Admiralty (technical adviser Lieut. Comm. I.T. Clark OBE, Royal Navy).

The world famous Coney Island in New York City, which got it's start in the 1840's is here included in Famous Studios, "Screen Song" series. The featured song is, By the Beautiful Sea, written in 1914, and is of the "follow the bouncing ball" variety. The song follows the slight story of animal characters(among them an elephant and mouse playing catch with a medicine ball)having fun at the beach.

They bring to the public not only one of the most affordable forms of mass entertainment but many other aspects of life through the films shown and through the theater's other uses. As a business, the theater is a vital part of the economic community, employing people, but also dependent on the public for its livelihood. The theater manager is the key person who ensures that every aspect of the theater runs smoothly. As the key business person for the establishment, he is also usually an integral part of business and community organizations in the town. The Elephant, imagining that he was the largest, and therefore the strongest, decided that there was no justice for him, and began to behave like he did, while spoiling everyone a feast. But this behavior did not last long, and there was someone to teach the insolent fellow.

This short Traveltalk visit to Chicago looks at some hotels known for their evening entertainment and for the rich and famous people who come to their dining rooms. Featured are the Walnut Room of the Bismarck Hotel, the Ambassador Hotel's Pump Room, and the boardwalk at the Edgewater Beach Hotel.

A starving wolf tries to find something to eat but keeps striking out. He even tries to cook a turtle.

Gaston, nicknamed Pilou, has left his native village and Yvette, the girl of his heart, to go to Paris where he has found work as a painter. He is a naive good-natured man who, like most of his fellow-workers, favors a little song or two while he works. For the time being he is busy repainting the exterior of a block of flats and, when he does not sing to pass the time, he looks through the windows, observing the tenants in their daily lives. As time goes by, he goes as far as intervening and changing the course of their lives. In the end, despite having found a lookalike of his fiancée, he returns to her.

In reality, he had wanted to approach her, because he imagined that she had witnessed the murder of the lover of his first wife. Evelyne learns what has happened and, revolted by what she thinks is her husband's plot, commits suicide. Jacques confesses his crime.

A theatrical dog decides to answer the call of the wild and hunt for his food. He targets two polite twin gophers as his first conquest and tries to kill them with a falling-rock trap hooked to a radish patch, then plots to attract them into range of his clutches by dressing himself like a baby, then by playing music. The gophers foil all of these schemes and trap the dog in his own piano as they play the keys, which are linked to hammers whacking the dog's rear.

This silent film from 1948 "The Creation of Life" briefly demonstrates how a fetus forms and graphically shows different types of births. It was made by Sherwood Picture Corp., and may have been sold both to schools and professional organizations for medical education, and to the public for shock value. British television horror mystery movie from 1948.

A ten-minute study of wild animal life in a Swedish forest; stoat, fox, hare, and owl, who stalk and savage one another, are photographed with extraordinary vividness and intimacy. It is perhaps the most striking of Sucksdorff's animal studies, in spite of an abrupt introduction and ending.

Institutional short film planned and directed by Arturo S. Mom for the First Argentine Film Festival in Mar del Plata. The film shows the technical process by which an Argentine film is produced and emphasizes the professionalism and power of the national film industry. In this way, the story explains in a pedagogical way what is a script, a frame, a camera, a set sketch and a projected background, among others, and how a scene and the soundtrack of a film are recorded.
