Theatre Colosseum prepares for the closing performance of the month. The magician Keats wants to avoid having to perform with Jack Carey, the well-known marksman, as the latter has seduced his wife, the beautiful dancer, Silvia Castellani. It is only thanks to the persuasions of Alice McLean, the manager of the acrobat sisters, that he finally decides to do his show. Carey starts wooing the second of the McLean-sisters, Gloria.

A down-and-out clerk happens upon a bag of money. Unknown to him, the money is all counterfeit, forcing the innocent man to become involved with gangsters, as well as federal agents.

27 well-to-do people have all vanished under similar circumstances. J.G. Reeder, an elderly gentleman who fancies himself a detective, decides to investigate the matter.

Porky Pig stars as the Pied Piper, who thinks he has taken care of all the mice. However, there is one rogue mouse that he is unable to catch. So he tries an old-fashioned mouse trap (a cat) and when the cat tries to fight, the result is the mouse wearing his fur (i.e. he killed him).

In a massive department store the driver romances the shopgirl. The problem is that the manager also has his eye on her, and some employees seem to be pilfering goods from the place.

Maria Pretorius is the leader of a counseling office in a large factory. She is completely engrossed by her career and so gives the cold shoulder to her colleague Wallrodt, who wants to marry her. Only the young Manfred Thiele is successful in winning her sympathy through his perseverence. That, however, pisses off Lyda Lehmann, who has long had the hots for him.

Suren, prevented by his family from pursuing a university career, leaves home and becomes a tutor to Pramila. He falls in love with her widowed elder sister Madhavi who, although returning his love, has him sacked to save the situation.

In this Eric Porter animation of ‘the grasshopper and the ant’ fable, Willie Wombat lazes and plays all summer. He laughs at his animal mates devoting time to collecting and depositing food in their local bank. Winter arrives and Willie, starving and cold, tries to withdraw food from the bank. The teller can find no record of any deposits for Willie. Dejected, Willie looks on as the other animals eat heartily and stay warm in their cosy homes. Willie collapses from hunger in the snow, but his friends come to the rescue just in time. The following summer Willie, having learned his lesson, deposits food in the bank with dedication and enthusiasm.

This romantic story turns on a stirring infatuation that takes hold of three young people under the influence of Simon, a Prague student. After the study year, 18 year-old Julio returns to his parental home, a little chateau on the Otava river. There he converges with his childhood friend Petr and the young boatman's daughter Klárka. Sharing her beguilement with Simon, who has quickly turned a tranquil summer atmosphere into a relationship drama, is Julio's cousin Rosa.

A young prankster impersonates his friend in front of the university rector’s daughter.

The young farmer Aalami leaves his family to find work elsewhere. He gets to know the country and its people, customs and traditions at Küste in North Africa: Market life in Tetuan, the art of craftsmanship, the life of the Moors, dances and festivities in honour of the caliph, white mosques, the call of the muezzin of the minaret and the music of the shepherd flutes. Aalami also follows Franco's call and flies from Morocco to Spain to fight at Bürgerkrieg. In the end Aalami comes back to his wife and children.

Four friends pretend a cruise to escape their wives and go clubbing, but they are forced to go through face-saving shipwreck, becoming castaways.

Humorist Robert Benchley discusses the issue of food and how different situations can affect one's ability to consume and digest food, using his stock everyman and slightly bumbling character Joe Doakes to dramatize such situations. Situations that can impede digestion include receiving bad news resulting in stress, being in love, and feeling scared. Snacking or nibbling between meals can ruins one's appetite at meal time. Having the correct posture while eating is important for digestion; finding the right posture can be difficult in certain circumstances, such as being on a picnic or eating in bed (specifically for men when using trays). Sharing tables with staring strangers may also impede digestion. And it's difficult to digest food when one can't get any of it.

The Higgins family prepares for a long-awaited cruise to Rio, but while father Joe bids farewell to his co-workers at the bank, mother Lil unwittingly sabotages their plans by telling insurance representative Wells that Joe is only forty-four, not forty-five, and is therefore ineligible to collect the annuity insurance that was to pay for the cruise.

Gandy is hitch hiking next to his trailer. A dog comes by and latches on to it. They spend a restless night, fighting off hundreds of mosquitoes. Eventually Gandy's new acquaintance has enough and flees, but the skeeter swarm ends up flying the caravan away after their stingers are stuck in the roof.

Kalle Jeppson is the joyful owner of a rural inn, "Spången" (The Footbridge). His only problems are all the bylaws that makes it difficult to have a quiet drink and the shrew of his wife who is always nagging on him. Kalle is afraid to tell her that Karin the maid is really his daughter from the days before their marriage.

Out hunting in the jungle with his spear, African native boy Inki keeps narrowly missing his prey: a parrot, a giraffe, even a butterfly. Then there's that weird black bird with the syncopated hop who keeps popping up out of nowhere, only to disappear mysteriously once again. News of the factory modernization divides the employees into two hostile camps. To prevent unrest, Hložek offers his son money from his mother's inheritance in exchange for his departure. Jiří's biggest opponents include two older employees of the company - the correspondent Málek and the accountant Mazara...

A live action black-and-white prolog tells the story of how Walt Disney came to Hollywood with $300, was rejected by all the major studios, but went on to tremendous success, many awards, and a thriving studio. Titles then ask what this means to the Standard Oil Salesman, and a parade of Disney characters gives us the answer, featuring Mickey as drum major, Minnie carrying a banner, and the 7 Dwarfs carrying the letters "STANDARD" (Dopey gets stuck with the last two): Apparently the various ads for Standard will be featuring Disney characters in the coming year.

It's time for conscription training outside the small town Lillköping. The bank clerk becomes an officer - the bank manager ordinary conscript. Everybody seems to be trying to get a date with Elsa, who cooks their food. Nobody takes the training seriously.

Renate Brinkmann is a German lady on a railway journey in Africa. She is wooed by two very different men. One is a hard drinking, cocky French aviator, the other a sensitive German gentleman.

The young Count Józio Lulewicz leads a rather dissolute life. At the urging of his friends, he tries to extract a large sum of money from his mother to start an operetta. When she refuses, he defiantly applies to a shoemaker for a job as a terminator. The distraught countess agrees to give her son the money he needs, but Józio is already head over heels in love with his boss's daughter and has no intention of giving up his new job.

An elderly head of the family, unlike his family—wife, daughters, future son-in-law, and servants—horrifies Carnaval, forming a humorous contrast. But, in need of money, he finds himself forced to accept the demands of an old Luzitano, who will only lend him money if he joins his group and joins the revelry.

Two rival families of chickens are arming in preparation for a battle in a property-line dispute over the division line between their two barnyard coops. After much fighting, squabbling and squawking between the two factions, two peaceful doves bring about a settlement between the two groups.
