The 1935 Morro films, shot by Martin and Osa Johnson, recount the 60,000 mile "Flying Safari" undertaken by the filmmakers as they flew their two amphibious airlanes(the Zebra stripped 'Osa's Ark' and the Giraffe-spotted 'Spirit of Africa') from Capetown, South Africa to Cairo, Egypt. Famous shots from the movie include the first-ever aerial pictures of the tops of Africa's highest peaks, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya. Along the journey, Martin filmed Osa surrounded by a pride of Lions and together they captured amazing scenes of a baboon colony, an event striking enough to give the movie its name.

Young Klych lives in a remote Uzbek village – he has heard about magnificent locomotives and yearned to travel in one, until one day his dream comes true when a friendly railway worker takes him to the big city of Tashkent on a magnificent steam train. Produced specifically for a junior audience, this Uzbek film advocates the wonders of urban living with its bounteous nursery schools and technological advancements, and has a clear ideological message for the new Soviet youth. Ideology aside, this is a thoroughly delightful film thanks to its endearing young stars and its playful use of animation.

This is one of Palestine's earliest sound films and part of a larger campaign to encourage settlement and investment in "the Jewish homeland." Land of Promise emphasizes secular accomplishments and portrays Zionist settlers with considerable cinematographic and editorial skill. Punctuated by evocative close-ups, this part-documentary, part-travelogue, part-message film shows Palestine as a land of opportunity, the place for fulfilling an ancient dream. Preserved by and made available in cooperation with the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House.

A film depicting traditional Krakow dances and the charm of the landscape of the Krakow area. The filmmaker, Eugeniusz Cękalski, was associated with the environment of the film avant-garde, hence the use of treatments unusual for a documentary film. "Krakow Dances" is not only a recording of folk dancing, but above all an artistic reportage, showing dancing couples from different perspectives, using close-ups and slow-motion shots, which allowed to expose the dynamics of movement and the beauty of regional costumes. The film featured the Folk Theater Association's Dance Ensemble.
