Jacques Bogopolsky (Russian: Yakov Bogopolsky), also known as Jacques Boolsky or Jacques Bolsey, born December 31, 1895 in Kiev and died January 20, 1962 on Long Island, was a Russian-born Swiss painter, pastellist, engineer and filmmaker.

Coming Home of a dead person

This is the Ramayana story of Seeta (Sriranjani) who retires to the forest and gives birth to twin boys, Lava (Bhimarao) and Kusa (M. Rao). They later take on the might of Rama (Subba Rao) unaware that he is their father.

The Empress of Floreana is a 1934 silent adventure short film made on Floreana Island by a millionaire captain who originally came with a crew to visit the Galápagos Islands for purposes of zoology. The film follows a newlywed couple (director Emery Johnson filled in as the husband, while male student zoologist Ray Elliott played the wife) who find themselves stranded on the shores of Floreana Island. The eponymous character (von Wagner) and her swain (played by Philippson, one of her real life lovers) are the only people on the island, and they have other plans for the helpless couple.

A detective will find a few odd notes, and the plot thickens when plenty of people are interviewed, and more than one could have the will, and the opportunity, to be the killer, and it is not clear what the relationship of the girl was with the deceased.

Combining a whimsical romantic tale, practical information about the Post Office Savings Bank, and a gently experimental film-making technique, this film entertainingly depicts some of the prospects opened up by having a savings account.
