is a 1930 Dutch East Indies comedy film directed by G. Kruger. It is considered the first sound film in the country, although the sound quality is poor and some scenes are muted. The plot is based on a famous Sundanese novel. The film is controversial among the natives.

Ronald Colman introduces the governor of California, who urges moviegoers to attend the cleaner, wholesome talkie films, rather than those that show the seamy side of life. Doing this will show movie company executives that the public prefers them, and more of them will be produced.

The draughtsman Jára receives a letter from his girlfriend in which she parts with him. He is very unhappy and tries to shoot himself with a gun. Deranged, he spills ink from a bottle on the table. A clown Bimbo is born from the ink and he thanks Jára for setting him free. He keeps inventing how to surprise the draughtsman and cheer him up. Their friendship, however, is soon over, as the clown has conjured up a girlfriend for Jára. The draughtsman sets off to the open air with his new girlfriend, leaving the drawn forlorn Bimbo desolated in grief for losing a friend. The film is often dated 1927, but the documented censorship record originates from as late as 1930. Information about the year 1927 is on a single surviving copy in an opening title, which is not original. Nothing as to who created the given title and from which sources the person in question drew information about the date of origination of the film was found. The author of the rhymed subheadings is Karel Smrž.

Jack King plays the piano and also asks some questions. Josephine Harmon goes through some songs and quips with vocal harmonizing.

A couple tries to elope.

In 1930, the 225-meter-long airship D-LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin visited Finland. It was supposed to land in Viikki, but strong winds prevented the attempt. The event was a news sensation that mobilized photographers, filmmakers and tens of thousands of viewers. Jäger and Ekebom shot an intense short film, the first part of which follows the gathering of a huge crowd at the landing site. When the landing itself was not successful, the film captured impressive scenes of the airship's massive figure moving in the sky. The slow rhythm and constructivist composition of the final scenes emphasize the external impact of the airship, when, according to the closing text, it "then disappears among the autumn-gray clouds covering the western horizon." The world's long-distance air traffic was to be handled by rigid-hulled airships, "zeppelins". The destruction of the airship Hindenburg on 6.5. 1937 at Lakehurst Field in the USA ruined their future.

A bovine John Bull rouses patriotism and some more disturbing emotions whilst protesting the importing of foreign meat. Though the message is basically one of “Buy British” to help farmers suffering in the year after the Wall Street Crash, the comic license of cartooning pushes things to extremes. The scenes of meat carcasses being hung from the neck from lampposts and baying mobs outside foreign butchers offer a disquieting analogue with the concurrent rise of Fascism.

A worker sees his friend's wife, admires her, and tries to seduce her, but she rejects him. He is not convinced, but he shows this to the wife. His hatred for the husband and desire for revenge on the wife drive him to plot to make the husband fall into the clutches of cocaine addiction. The husband begins to collapse, and then the whole family collapses, but the addicted husband does not stop until he reaches the point of killing his son.

A young girl flees from her father to be able to marry her true love.

There are many ways to travel! Rich Director Brown's two young daughters prefer a first-class coupe in a high-speed train. While the train whizzes along the rails on its way to the big city, the young ladies in a strange way meet two strange guys, one long and thin, the other small and thick ... Fy and Bi! Fy and Bi are on their way to the capital to look for a place, they have an introductory letter with them, and it turns out that it is for the young ladies' father. The two young ladies promise to put a good word in for them, but director Brown receives Fy and Bi with much distrust, and he throws them out. Through many trials and a breathtaking ride in a motorboat, however, Fy and Bi manage to make a good impression on the director.

People in his village have made the gullible farmer Tinus de Schel believe that he has won the first prize in the lottery, ten thousand guilders. He goes to collect his money, but learns from the local police constable that it will be a couple of hours before the office opens. He falls asleep and dreams about how he will spend his prize, deciding first of all to make a gentleman of himself. He starts by visiting shops in Helmond (their names and what they sell are mentioned in rhyming couplets in the inter-titles), where he buys himself a new suit, a vacuum-cleaner, a radio, a Chevrolet, a bicycle, cigars, medicine, caramels and also gets his hair cut. When he wakes up and realizes that he has won nothing at all, he contents himself with the thought that if ever he does win the first prize in the lottery he will know in which Helmond shops he is going to spend the money.

After a thousand years, the Taoist master Huang Hua Guan and his disciples regained human forms, as did the seven spider spirits, who vowed to abandon evil. To warn others, the Taoist priests told this story: Fifteen hundred years later, student Xiao Liu mistakenly entered a women’s bathroom and saw Wenxia bathing, leading to his public humiliation. When his sister Liu Cui reported it, Wenxia framed her, prompting Liu Cui to swear revenge. Wenxia, who had many boyfriends, stirred rivalry between Lu Xing and Chunfeng. During a trip, Wenxia and Chunfeng were attacked by someone bribed by Liu Cui, and both were injured. Daxiong saved Wenxia but had bad intentions, leading to a fight in which Lu Xing, Chunfeng, and Daxiong died, and Wenxia was trapped. Liu Cui was arrested for murder. Hearing this story, Wukong appeared, scaring the demons into releasing the Tang Monk.

Since most of these villages are free workers and they are threatened with almost permanent unemployment, there is no organization in any form, and factory worker Kim Cheol-geun, a worker at the Hannam Iron Works, tries to form an organization, but an opportunity finally comes when there is no specific policy.
