The first production we've seen from Patria Films, frankly, hasn't impressed us. It seems unbelievable that despite all the criticism leveled at American films for their bland plots, the plot is the first weak point of all national productions, whether Peruvian, Argentinian, or Spanish, despite the abundant good literature that has been written. The plot of Alma peruana is worthless, and the limited cinematic experience of its actors, not only in acting but also in makeup, does nothing to mask its flaws.

A visual document of the construction of Memorial Bridge, built as part of the celebration of Bangkok’s 150th anniversary. The highlight is when the cameraman, Pao Wasuwat, climbs into a basket and is lifted by a construction crane to capture the top view of the site, an act of improvisation that testified to his cinematic ingenuity. Chamberlain Manit Naret’s facial expressions as the camera looks unblinkingly at him speak a thousand words. Manit would later become an actor in many Thai feature films in the 1950s.

Zé Babão is a hillbilly who does not care about working, leads the good life of the interior and is in love with Conchita. One day, an Italian appears interested in all the banana trees of Zé Babão and, for this, decides to marry Conchita.

The story staged, then, is that of young Andreas Harmer (played by Oskar Marion), at first unemployed and then, thanks to the help of his sister, who works as a nanny at the home of councillor Othmar Valentin (Arthur von Duniecki), a police apprentice. The man soon finds himself having to deal with a couple of forgers (Attila Hörbiger and Kurt Doehn), who live in the basement of Valentin’s building and who, uneasy because of the presence of a policeman who frequently visits the house, will do anything to drive the man away, even organising the kidnapping of Valentin’s little daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Linsemann have been happily married for a year. In their chic home, a modern villa financed by a loan and not yet fully paid off, the lady of the house intends to throw a big one-year anniversary party to please her husband. For this reason, she invites all his relatives to a large party, including her wealthy Uncle Adolf, from whom she hopes for a substantial financial boost to help pay off the loan. But this bash soon turns into a disaster, because the guests are quite a handful: there's dear, well-behaved Uncle Emil, who was always under the thumb of his rather unpleasant brother Adolf; the Webers with their teenage son; Cousin Wilhelm and his wife; and Mr. and Mrs. Stempel. A musician, a nanny, and a singer are also in attendance.

Dramatised film of an incident in the life of Rob Roy MacGregor, set in the Trossachs. Entered in the Scottish Amateur Film Festival 1933. Roy Roy has been outlawed and is in hiding in the Trossachs. His band is suprised by a party of redcoats. Rob Roy escapes and the outlaws get away taking a red coat officer prisoner. The redcoat is freed by one of the clanswomen who is his lover. The outlaws discover her treachery and plan to drown her but Rob Roy arrives and saves her from her fate.
