The Solomon Sir Jones films consist of 29 silent black and white films documenting African-American communities in Oklahoma from 1924 to 1928. The films measure 12,800 feet (355 min). All films are B-wind positive prints, except one roll that contains approximately 150 feet of orange base B-wind positive.

Short, silent advertisement for the QRS Company's combination camera and projector. The Chicago-based company sold the 16mm equipment for $98.50, using "see yourself as others see you" as a tagline to drum up interest in using their camera-projectors for shooting and exhibiting home movies in domestic spaces.

If this is an expedition through the Amazonian rain forest, there isn't much to it. We get to see the explorers start in the Andes, hire some local Indians as carriers, then it's on to the Jivaro Indians, well known in the days of serial movies and pulp magazines -- i.e., when this was made -- as savages who shrunk their slain enemies' heads and kept them as souvenirs.

This advertisement for the American Dairy Association was produced by Jam Handy for Sheffield Milk. It extols the virtues and benefits of drinking milk to be strong and energetic. It is quite entertaining.

Businessman and adventurer Homer Augustus Brinkley produced this film in 1928 after living for several months among the Seminole Indians in the Everglades. He later used the film in a traveling show that featured a live, caged bear and himself dressed as a Seminole. Photographed by William B. Feeland, the film contains some of the earliest moving footage of the Seminole.

This silent film presents original materials from 1917–1921 and later reconstructions. Polonia Restituta shows the German occupation of Warsaw, the fight against Ukrainians for Eastern Galicia, the liberation of Vilnius, the Polish-Soviet war, the Polish-Ukrainian alliance and the conquest of Kiev, the Polish counteroffensive in August and September 1920 and the signing of the Treaty of Riga.

A young girl survives a shipwreck and is found and subsequently raised by the fisherman Harry Smits. He gives her the name Leentje from the Sea. When she grows up, she becomes engaged to Jaak Rens. Harmstrong, a tourist, tries to seduce her with stories about city life. The next day, he is found with a knife in his back. Jaak Rens is taken in as a suspect, but a mentally challenged beachcomber, who has been protecting Leentje since her childhood, turns out to be the murderer. During the trial, the judge recognizes the birthmark he had placed on Leentje’s arm at birth and realizes that she is his daughter. After the trial Jaak and Leentje marry.

This collection of films, shot in the 1920s by longtime Corpus Christi resident Antonio Rodríguez Fuentes, may well represent some of the earliest produced by a Mexican-American filmmaker about the Mexican-American community in Texas. In the home movie footage, Fuentes captures not only his family but also parades featuring local Mexican-American civil-rights organizations, including the Order of Sons of America and the Obreros y Obreras. Antonio and his wife Josefina were both heavily involved in early Corpus Christi Mexican-American community groups and the social network that these clubs comprised. The couple was also related to numerous local individuals, including Andres De Luna, one of the founders of the League of United Latin American Citizens. This collection comes to TAMI via the Mary and Jeff Bell Library at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Amábilis Cordero featured in his film Miracles of the Divine Shepherdess (1928) the image of the death in very precarious shape of a scrawny, anonymous actor who, wrapped in a sheet and armed with a scythe, walking in sandals rooftops Barquisimeto in what could be considered one of the first and rare surreal visions of Venezuelan film. As we know, our film has preferred rather turn towards the outside; to the marginal, criminal and sociological social fact avoiding exploring spaces of dreams and imagination. In such a witty and imaginative country like Venezuela no longer curious that the film lacks the imagination to accept that truth finds its best support in the fable: that reality always full of poetry.

An unedited and untitled film of the opening of the new British Instructional Film Studios by the Rt. Hon L.S. Amery. Invited guests are seen arriving by train and walking toward the studio. Mr Amery is then seen speaking to an audience in the studio (with him on the platform is Mr Bruce Woolf and Mr A. Bundy). The final scene shows an actress performing in front of the cameras in long distance for a female director.
