Propaganda made for Der Stahlhelm, we see its members celebrating Reichsfrontsoldatentag — Frontline Soldiers' Day — in May 1927, featuring plenty of marching and praying. Der Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten (transl. 'The Steel Helmet, League of Front-Line Soldiers'), commonly known as Der Stahlhelm (lit. 'The Steel Helmet') or Stahlhelm BdF ('D.S. BdF'), was a revanchist ex-serviceman's association formed in Germany after the First World War. Dedicated to preserving the camaraderie and sacrifice of German frontline soldiers, it quickly evolved into a highly politicised force of ultranationalist resistance, opposed to the democratic values of the Weimar Republic.

The coronation ceremony of the Icon of Our Lady of the Dawn Gate took place on 2 July 1927. It was a grand celebration, not only religious, but also national, attended by state dignitaries headed by President Ignacy Mościcki and Marshal Jozef Pilsudski. Despite a storm and rain, Vilnius was visited by thousands of pilgrims, including Poles from the Kaunas region, which is part of Lithuania, for whom it was also a patriotic manifestation. Just 2 days later, on 4 July, a film account of the ceremony was screened at Warsaw's Colosseum cinema. In 2023, the film was reconstructed based on three incomplete copies.

A commercial promoting money saving. Felix the Cat paces impatiently back and forth and strenuously contemplates until he finally gets an idea: Work and save! He produces coins from his fur and deposits them in a nearby moneybox. The commercial features a character inspired by the protagonist of the popular American cartoon, Felix the Cat. Another remade and extended version of this commercial promoting money saving is entitled The New Adventure of Felix the Cat (1927, production company Elekta Journal Prague).

Bento Balão, a wicked man and owner of the Pedra da Onça farm, cruelly beats a paralyzed old man who lived on his land and embezzled money from him, and kidnaps the old man's eight-year-old daughter. But since the old man and the girl weren't the only victims of Bento's arbitrary actions, the modest and honest farmers pursue Bento. He hides in a sugarcane train, but is caught, tied to a cashew tree branch, and savagely beaten until he dies. Lost film.

We see shots of samples being taken, and bags being weighed. Loading in canoes, and being transferred to the ship S.S. Tjikarang. Shots of the office of N.V. Luis Pardo, witness to the murder of his sister at the hands of the gamonal Cesar Pradera, seeks revenge and becomes a bandit, stealing from the rich to give to the poor.

The whole town of Trangvik are up-roared by a young woman dressed improperly in a bathing suit, and many gather to make sure the town's morale is restored. But miss Helene Dyring isn't willing to give up her bathing holiday.

Felix tries to grub a meal at a diner but is chased away when he's sprayed with pepper. Next he chases a duck that he thinks will make a good meal, but the duck winds up saving Felix's life when he almost drowns in a pond. He than helps the duck avoid the dinner table of a local farmer, and after the farmer throws Felix back in the pond, Felix plots his revenge with the help of the fish in the pond.

The footage contains scenery from various areas in Tokyo such as Akasaka, Ueno Park, and Shimbashi. As Korean subtitles are included, it is presumed to have been produced for the Korean audience. The film vividly documents sights and scenes of Tokyo including Tenryumon, a Chinese-style building that was a popular spot in Ueno Park before its destruction in the Great Tokyo Air Raid of 1945; the activities of the Tokyo City Youth League, established in 1925, who played a role in the support of the wartime system; people walking downtown; and the movement of a train from Shimbashi Station through Tokyo Station to Kanda Station. Acquired in 2010, and transferred in 4K resolution.

Donald Hampton (Kenneth Harlan), a rich playboy, falls in love with an actress, Fay Leslie (Helene Chadwick), and marries her against the wishes of his mother Mrs. Hampton (Frances Raymond). Later, when Donald finds another man, Keith Carlin (John Patrick) in Fay's boudoir, he goes to pieces, believing that his marriage, like stage kisses, is phony. Faithful Fay then sets out to show her husband that she has been the victim of a set-up by her mother-in-law.

He takes a piece of paper from his pocket and reads from it. It says "When is your birthday? If you would know your future consult Zodiac the great seer.." He puts it back in his pocket. Speech bubble appears: "Seeing it's my birthday, I'll slip along and see what the seer sees of my future!"

It's spring and a goat is frolicking, the mosquitoes are looking for a meal, the cat is painting landscapes and Farmer Al Falfa is catching a nap under a tree. Shouldn't he be plowing or planting? All paths lead to Al, who soon is involved in a random series of chases with all the characters.

The use of human hands as characters in a dance inspired narrative are used to explore female experience and representation. By drawing upon experimental traditions found in international art, film, and photography movements of the 1920s, Simon transforms a simple melodramatic love story into an avant-garde feminist short film.
