3 cartoons were made in 1918 by O'Galop, the designer of Bibendum Michelin, to warn the post-war population of the ravaging effects of alcohol and tuberculosis. This public health campaign seems far removed from our present-day concerns. Over time it has acquired a different dimension.

The film is set in the fictional mill town of Hindle in Lancashire in England, and concerns two young persons, Fanny Hawthorn and Alan Jeffcote, who are discovered to have been having what would now be called a "dirty weekend" during their holiday, during the town's wakes week.

Billie went up the "Angel's Flight" in Los Angeles and hubby went after, for he was jealous of the music "professor," who was teaching her the latest livery stable "blues" on the saxophone. Hubby threw the "professor" out of the house and the saxophone followed after.

While Clara excitedly rushes off to go shopping, Georg takes a stiff drink to fortify himself for the impending meeting with his mother-in-law. Little Dot Jarvis is tolerated, but not loved, by her ambitious parents, who send her to boarding school so they can move into a fashionable apartment building that does not allow children. At school, Dot is treated so cruelly that she runs away, but a kind farmer takes her to the police station and she is returned to her parents. When Dot's father becomes involved in a scheme to smuggle arms into Mexico, Dot's photograph prevents newspaper owner Robert Chase from exposing him. Repentant, Dot's parents finally give her the love she had so sorely missed.

Lincoln's life in the White House at the time Fort Sumter was fired upon is shown, and the many problems he was forced to face at that momentous hour are brought out with great clearness. His calm when surrounded by hot-headed advisers, each one determined that his scheme for saving the Union must be adopted, and the depth of his feeling at thought of a divided nation are clearly indicated by the action of the story and Benjamin Chapin's acting of the President.

This film, discovered in the mid-1970s, shows, among other things, Mannerheim with his headquarters in Vaasa, White Guards training in the Vaasa barracks and at the Vöyri military school, surrendered Russian prisoners of war, and Swedish volunteers who participated in the civil war. Finally, it depicts a large military funeral in Vaasa on April 4, 1918. At that time, Jaeger officer Oskar Peltokangas was buried, accompanied by thousands of escorts.

The sequence depicts an airship’s journey, starting with its departure from a hangar and people waving on the ground. Inside the commander’s gondola, Commander Hans Flemming and his crew manage the airship. The airship flies over Berlin, showcasing landmarks like the Lustgarten, Royal Palace, Cathedral, Gendarmenmarkt, Leipziger Platz, Potsdamer Platz, Victory Column, Reichstag building, Brandenburg Gate, and Unter den Linden. The engine room and radio operator’s cabin are shown, with technicians performing maintenance and communication tasks. The airship also passes over Potsdam, Sanssouci, and the New Palace. Commander Flemming and his staff plan the route at the chart table. The sequence concludes with the airship’s landing, as technicians operate the engines and ground crew assist. The German Air Force logo marks the end.
